Short StoriesAll stories are to be done in 11 pt Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, 1 inch margins. Basically I'm going to write in the format I was taught is proper in college.
Price is fixed at $.75 USD per page. I reserve the right to change this if demand rises, as it will take up more of my time.*
All commissioners must provide the following:
1) References of their character(s). Pictures are preferred, but written will also suffice. Please specify their species, gender, clothing and personality.
2) A general idea or rough outline of what they wish to see in the story. I can help with this if need be. I am not a mind reader, so if you want specific events/people/things in the story you must specify them.
3) A target length. *If I go a little over this, I will not make you pay extra, as that is on me. However if you give me an outline or idea that is obviously designed to go over the number of pages you are willing to pay for, I will notify you and we will either make payment arrangements for the extra length or rework the plot so that it fits.
If you do not specify a length, I will ask for one. If you wish for me to write until the story feels complete, I will do so and update you on the length periodically.
Please be aware that if you ask for mature work it will be posted in my scraps. I want to keep my front page as PG as possible.
The final page will only be considered as part of the payment if the text goes over the halfway mark of the page.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission that I feel uncomfortable with or incapable of doing. This will mostly be along the lines of hard fetishes, and/or sexual themes. I feel it is unfair for the commissioner for me to try and fail to write something I'm uncomfortable with, as it's a waste of both parties' time. If you wish to know what I will or will not do, please ask, as if your idea is reasonably tame I may make an exception.
The commissioner has a right to ask for progress reports periodically, so long as they do not abuse the privilege. This means that I will send them what I have written so far and they can review it. I highly encourage the commissioner to contact me through Skype or email, not FA notes.
Estimated time to complete will vary, but I can do an average of 3-4 pages in a night, as I write from the period of around 9 PM EST to whenever I feel I'm going to collapse, and average 6 nights a week. If you wish, you may contact me during that time via Skype and I will update you as I can.
Finally, the commissioner may ask, once the story is complete, for me to edit it only once. I will go back and change anything you ask me to once. I suggest that if the story needs changes, you either highlight them or make a list and send it to me.
All payments will be made through PayPal. Half upfront, half when the story is complete. If you are a repeat customer I may waive this and take the entire payment when the story is complete.
I highly encourage speaking to me beforehand, and being in communication with me throughout the process. As I said, I am not a mind reader, and these are your ideas I'm trying to bring to life. Feel free to tell me if I'm screwing something up. I'm human, I make mistakes, and I'm not afraid to own up to them. |
