If this helps try writing a plot summery, for example:
"Character A goes to location 1 and meets up with Characters B and C, they have a lovely time and talk about the follow topics. Then character C and B go to location 2, stuff happens involving the following info on the way there and mainly at that location, Character A almost finds out but does not."

I could easy write 2000 words on that alone, 1000 if you wanted it short and sweet but i would need a bit more info for longer writing.
