Terms- Prices are subject to change according to complexity, difficulty, medium and size of each piece.
- Clear visual references or descriptions of the commission idea must be provided by the client.
- Payments must be made up front. Payment must be completed in full before the finished art will be given to the client.
- The client can ask for changes in the rough sketch stage. I can do 4 changes for free. If whole new sketches are requested I will ask for a fee.
- Full refunds are possible but it is prefered that you commit to the commission.
- During the sketching stage I can refund 50% if the client wishes to cancel.
- After coloring I cannot give refunds.
- NO ONE other than the commissioner of the image may upload that image to any site or gallery. Characters belong to their owners and should not be used without permission!
Groups may share the image IF proper credit is given!
- Commissions will be discussed through either email or FA notes. The client must ensure the email is written in clear english.
- The artist has the right to refuse, issue a refund or cancel a commission, due to poor communication & rude behaviour.
- The artist will email the client with w.i.p’s of the commissioned piece when necessary. This is during the sketch stage and flat coloring stage. Other updates can be seen on the Trello queue: https://trello.com/b/BlkYNoke/golda.....er-commissions
- The artist will not accept commissions with copyrighted characters. However, fan characters & characters created from a copyrighted species (Charr, Lombax etc.) are acceptable.
- The artist retains the right to all commissioned work in their galleries, websites or journals. If the commissioned art is a time-sensitive gift the artist can delay public showcase at request by the client.
- The Artist retains ALL the rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to make prints and merchandise. Image rights can be negotiated for an added fee. The client will be notified beforehand.
- The Client retains all rights to their respective characters. This does not allow them rights to the commissioned image.
- The Client may not profit from the artwork.
- The Client may upload their commissioned artwork to sites such as FA, twitter, facebook, instagram etc as long as proper credit is given, by either my name ‘Goldammer’ or linking to my FA. The public art should be the lower resolution, and the signature must not be removed. The high resolution is meant for personal use; creating prints for display or cropping the image to set as an icon or wallpaper & other non-commercial digital formats. The client cannot alter the artwork themselves.
- The Artist may recycle sketches and concept works that were rejected by the Commissioner for other commissions or personal works.
- The Client may color sketches themselves as long as credit for the lines are given!
- The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms before entering into an agreement with the Artist. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
