Please read all my terms and conditions before committing to a commission. These terms are subject to change.
Please have a look through my galleries and at my price lists. If there’s something you can’t find or wish to enquire about, feel free to contact me.
Section 1.1: General
1: A commission is a contract between me (the artist) and the customer.
2: All commissions must be paid in advance before I start working on them.
3: I will give you a time estimate on how long the piece will take but please be patient. I cannot give exact times due to life being unpredictable. If you need something by a certain deadline, we can discuss in advanced.
4: All customers must be at least 18 years of age.
5: Artwork will be in DIGITAL format. You will not receive any hard copies unless specifically agreed. I will send a full resolution image to you via email or telegram etc
6: Client must provide references of their character for me or a detailed text explaining what they wish. For written texts, please be concise and brief. Reference sheets should have at least two views and NOT be shaded.
7: I reserve the right to withdraw the commission if you don't have permission to use a character.
8: I will not be held responsible for falsified or incorrect information provided by the client.
9: The client agrees to grant me temporary permission to illustrate their character/intellectual property. These rights will be revoked upon completion or termination of the transaction.
10: I reserve the right to decline or cancel any commission without providing a reason or if the client is abusive or uncooperative.
11: Please do not contact me unecarsserily, this will only delay commissions. I work/study at the same time so please do not contact me after 9pm GMT.
12: Commissioning me does not entitle you to have multiple personal conversations with me. Please respect that this is a business, constantly messaging me with unrelated chit chat drastically slows down my progress.
1.2 Turn around times and queue
1: I mostly complete commissions in the order they have been paid in.
I will sometimes jump around in my queue at my discretion to break things apart (ie. rather than working on 3 illustrations in a row, I’ll do some sketch commissions etc in between. This helps keep my artistic output fresh and inspired).
2: I am willing to work to a deadline but this is a case by case basic and must be discuss up front.
3: My trello queue is kept up to date and is free for anyone to view.
4: Feel free to contact me any time about the status of your commission. I’ll try my best to be as transparent and accommodating as possible when it comes to completing my commissions in a timely manner.
5: Artwork is not my full time job so sometimes there will be delays etc, I try to organise and balance my art/work life as well as possible but sometimes things can happen. I’ll try to be as transparent as possible about these matters.
Section 2: Payment
1: Payment must be made before work can commence.
2: I only accept PayPal payments in GPB (£). I will send you an invoice, once it is paid, work will begin shortly.
3: Invoices must be paid within 48 hours. Failure to pay will result in your slot being given away or cancelled.
4: Payment plans are available for commissions over £100, just ask. You however won’t receive the final full resolution image until all payments are complete.
5: If I am to ship an item, you must cover all shipping and handling costs.
Section 3: Refunds
1: Refunds are by a case by case basis. If work has already started, I'll have to charge the amount of time/materials used to that point. Please make sure you do have money for a commission to avoid this.
2: I will not refund fully completed commissions.
Section 4:WIPS
1: WIPs (work in progress). You can request a sketch before I do the full colour version but only if we agree to this in advanced. I may provide without being asked. However once work sketch has been approved, I will not offer WIPs unless specifically agreed beforehand. This is due to it slowing down the process hugely, once art has been lined/coloured etc, I cannot change things for free.
Section 5: Usage
1: I retain all rights to my work and the freedom to post completed images to any of my respective galleries online.
2: The client may repost and reuse their completed image on a non profit basis. Please provide credit to myself.
3: The client may not claim an image I created as their own artwork.
4: The client may not alter their image by me apart from cropping for icons, personal desktop wallpapers, forum signatures, or banners.
5: You may not resell the custom artwork you commissioned from me unless it is a character design.
6: My work is not for commercial use unless it was explicitly commissioned for that purpose.
7: Do not trace or heavily reference my work without my permission.
8: Do not remove any watermarks from my artwork.
Section 4: Corrections
1: I am happy to correct any honest mistakes I’ve made from not quite following a brief or reference sheet. Please tell me of any issues as soon as possible.
2: Minor changes due to your personal preferences can be completed but after two, I will need to start charging extra.
3: If you are not happy with the work, please discuss this with me though I will not offer a refund for fully completed work.
Section 5: my promise to you:
1: To provide artwork of your character in my own style as best described by the client.
2: To communicate well with you and give you progress updates at least every 14 days unless extenuating circumstances make me unable to.
3: To get your art completed in a timely manner after payment and not overload myself.
4: I will not take payment until I know I can begin your piece within 5 working days. This reduces worry and makes my turnaround times faster.
Section 6: What I won't/will draw:
1: I will not draw copyrighted/trademarked characters without permission from the owners.
Taking commissions of existing intellectual property for money is very legally ambiguous so for these reasons, I cannot offer these. This includes Pokemon, anime characters, other people's sonas etc.
2: I will not draw most created species unless you created it. I feel using another person's concept or design isn't fully reflecting your own character and design however this is at my discretion.
A character is intimately related to its owner so it's design must come from them also. I do not like the disconnection. I will however draw hybrids, e.g. Sergal crossed with fox as in my opinion, this makes it unique to you.
This includes but isn't limited to:
-Angel dragons
-Crux
-Bitaurs
-Primagens
-Protogens
3: I am happy to draw other fantastical creatures such as gryphons, dragons, Pegasus, D&D characters and anything you create. Creatures from religion, literature and old text are fine.
4: I will not draw adoptables:
Whilst I can appreciate the designs and love for them, they are all created without the owner's personality and design in mind. I feel this makes them very disconnected from your own artistic journey so for that reason, I do wish to draw them.
5: I will not draw some nsfw content:
-Images containing non-consensual activities.
-excessive blood/gore
-zoophilia.
-Inflation
-Vomit/Scat
-Vore
-if in doubt, please ask beforehand
6: I will not draw an image in another artist's style.
If you want something in another's style, commission them instead. What you see in my gallery is what you get. I am happy to experiment however and try different techniques.
7: I am happy to design you a unique character:
This is a long process and a personal journey mainly aimed at those who feel they cannot create/draw/visualise their character on their own. I will work with you via private messages to help you visualise your character, their traits etc. This can result in a reference sheet of varying complexity depending on what you would like, how much you wish to spend.

Once you have 3, you can then commission individual ones (£10 each) to add to your set later on.
These come as head/head and shoulder stickers, I can happily do full body and anything else but they will be £15 each |

Digital illustration Full digital illustration of your character in a variety of styles. I can do more cartoony to realism. I usually work somewhere in between.
These are charged roughly at £17 per hour and are based on my price sheet.
For a full shaded image with background, I usually need at least 3 to 6 hours. I can give you an estimate of how many hours I think I'll need for I can work to your budget. I can work quite fast and can include work in progress pictures if you ask prior to commissioning me.
For one character images, an hour will get you clean lineart and maybe flat colours/simple background.
