Comic Dialogue CommissionsI help write the dialogue of characters in some longer comic strips. I've got limited experience with actual writing, though I have written a 45 page comic with positive reception, and a 145k+ word novel with great reception. Please look at my story 'A Captive Viper' For some examples of how I set out my dialogue. I like focusing on realistic character progression, going through small or slow steps to show a big change, or to elicit strong emotions. I'm happy to do all kinds of dialogue in general, but please let me know before I accept the commission what it is you are looking for, and I can list a price for the commision if needed. I like working closely with the author and I'm happy to revise my work multiple times if the author is not content or wants something changed. As it can be difficult to truly capture the character of a random character, it is likely that some responses may be slightly off, and can be fixed with small changes.

Beta-reading/Editing StoriesI am a good candidate to beta-read through stories of any length. My strengths lie in good grammar and spelling, and I also excel at keeping characters consistent, and giving the characters realistic progression throughout the story. I can help with major plot holes and some minor plot holes, however, I may have a slight bias towards my kind of writing style, which tends to be very descriptive, down to earth writing. If you are writing a flighty book in which characters seem to do whatever they want because they can, without you building progression as to motives to why they do this, I will try to address this immediately, and so may not be the ideal beta reader for that kind of story.
I have edited a long novel on the story of X-Com 2 for a writer on fanfiction by the name of userc01, with very positive feedback from the author. I get very detailed when I give the initial feedback on the story, and will ask a lot of questions to make sure I understand what I'm changing and why. I like working very closely with the author, it is their story after all. I am happy to beta read stories across a wide spectrum, however, I do not know much about anime related stories, as I do not watch it, but I play several games, so just message me and I can sort out whether I can help or not, what you want focused on. Again, for small stories, I am quite happy to just read through and give some feedback for free, however, paid commissions will obviously take priority.
I excel at helping write character development and interactions, when you want your audience to really fall in love with your characters, which will really help in getting people back, to read through and adore your characters every step of the way. I have written stories for Action/Sci-Fi Romance novels, so I would say that is my strongest genres. |
