Estimates are generally given by the thousands (1K, 2K, 3K, etc) but price will be round to the nearest hundred. It's more or less 2c per word, though prices might vary based on the amount of legwork I need to do setting up the story.

Please include reference images of your character(s). If there is anything specific you would like me to get inspired from (e.g. environment for background or stock images for poses) please include them as well. References need not be commissioned works you have, but can include similar characters, computer-generated art or models (such as HeroForge), etc
I will communicate with you about details, concepts, and progress throughout the writing process.

TOS1. GENERAL TERMS
Prices are subject to change based on demand. I reserve the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable writing for any reason.
2. PAYMENT
Payment will be handled through PayPal invoices, and all prices are listed in USD.
Invoices will be set to a half up front payment, and full payment must be made before the first draft is sent.
3. PROCESS AND DELIVERY
I will notify you when I have started on your commission and begin working with you for details to construct an outline.
While I'm working on your commission I will reach out to confirm progress and review those details to ensure I make it just right for you. The amount of reviews depends on the complexity of the work.
The time it takes to finish your commission varies depending on factors such as personal health, the complexity of the commissioned piece, other work and con seasons.
If anything comes up that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time I will let you know ASAP. Likewise feel free to reach out about updates, but no more than once per week.
Once the piece is finished you will receive the full document (you may specify the filetype if you prefer). Note that there is no physical product.
4. REVISIONS
Changes and revisions during the first draft are included in the price. After the first draft is sent, minor changes such as grammar can be made at no cost, however any major changes to scenes will need to be discussed and a new price negotiated for the additional time.
If your references are unclear or misleading, appropriate changes to the story will incur an extra charge.
5. COPYRIGHT / USAGE POLICY
I, the writer, claim the rights to the produced story, not the buyer. Therefore I am allowed to use the copyrighted artwork to:
Promote myself with it everywhere
Publish any written works
Display it everywhere to my liking (website, social media, etc.)
Post it wherever I want
The buyer is allowed to:
Use the commissioned piece for personal use unless agreed otherwise
Use the artwork to promote themselves, so long as the writer is credited
Post it wherever you'd like, so long as the writer is credited
The following is considered copyright infringement:
Reproducing/using the copyrighted work commercially - means making money off it in any way
Claiming the work as your own
I reserve the full rights to the story and its use/distribution unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
I will do everything I can to make my customers happy!
If you have a problem with anything in regards to the commissioned piece please tell me right away so we can find a solution together.
If you do not want me to post your story anywhere, we can discuss this before I begin work on the draft.
7. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
The buyer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the draft. Partial refunds may be available for incomplete work.
If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your order before I've started it, you can get a full refund.
If the buyer breaks any of the points stated above they will lose all the aforementioned rights to the artwork commissioned by me, the writer, and I will have the right to profit further from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. |
