“Complexity Fees”
All characters are unique and differ from one another in many ways. Several of those ways are certain to be a bit more difficult for me to depict accurately and will take more time for me to draw. This means that certain details will carry a charge of their own which will be added to the total cost of your commission via percentage of ~25%.
-Absence or lack of reference material:
Under the circumstance that I am not provided decent visual reference(s) of your character(s) to be drawn, then I will apply a complexity fee to the commission. I may also choose not to accept your commission.
-Complex markings/Heavy scarring/Tattoos:
If you have very specific marking patterns/scarring/tattoos/body paints which I will need to follow in order to accurately illustrate your character(s), I will apply a complexity fee to the commission.
-Detailed accessories/Clothing:
Stuff that has a lot of small details such as lace, ribbons/bows/sashes, jewelery/piercings, chains, multiple highly-detailed layers of clothes, etc will carry the complexity fee.
-Multiple extremities, Horns/Antlers/Tusks/Bony protuberances:
Unusual phenotypical traits such as polydactyly, supernumerary arms/legs, multiple heads/tails will carry the complexity fee.
-Wings:
Feathered, leathered, technological, or magic—type matters not—wings will have a complexity fee.
-Cars/Tanks/Ships/Weapons/Robots/Mechanical props/Etc:
Anything that is inorganic and requires a moderate or high amount of study/reference will have a complexity fee applied to it. This includes robotic limbs/prosthetics/augments but excludes SIR Units.
-Muscles:
If a character has highly developed muscle definition that I will be required to illustrate, it will have a complexity fee applied to it.
-Backgrounds:
A complexity fee will apply if there is multiple levels of complicated depth, lighting, detail, and effects often seen in indoor setups and also includes technological architecture.
!KEEP IN MIND!
I own all rights to all artwork I produce, whether it's commissioned or otherwise. However, if you approach me wanting exclusive commercial rights to any particular artwork I create, then the total price will be no less than five times the original price, fees included. This will grant you full rights over the artwork and may be reproduced/resold as you see fit. With that, I would surrender all of my commercial rights over the artwork, but retain my personal rights to add it to my portfolio and display it wherever I choose.

Sketch CommsThis is a DIGITAL commission

Sketch commissions consist of quick, loose lines which can be done in traditional black/grey or be a color/gradient.
Character Sketch = $3-5 per sketch

Ink CommsThis is a DIGITAL commission
"Some of the nicest lines this side of the river, all for you, my dudes. Inks so sharp they could fool a casual web surfer into thinking that they're leftover production characters from the show."
Ink commissions consist of bold, sharp, refined lineart of a character(s) on a blank/transparent canvas.
Character Lineart = $15-20
Each additional character + $13-17
-Finished lines can be on an opaque or transparent BG for you to color as you see fit, including a basic fill inside the lines
-I'll provide 1 sketch WIP to make any other edits before I start inking

Color CommsThis is a DIGITAL commission
"One of the penultimate results from an artist's time well spent on creating quality artstuffs, this will bring your character to life with the good old-fashioned union of flats and cel shading. Each character will get their bodies filled with color, whether or not they also get cel shades is entirely up to you. Flats are also beautiful on their own."
Color Comms are full-color, finalized character art which can come with colored lineart, flats, and cel shading. Characters can come with/without a colored back outline as per the commissioner's wishes.
Character Art = $25-30
Each additional character +20-25
-Finished character art can be on an opaque or transparent BG with or without a colored/gradient back outline to make them pop
-I'll provide 2 WIP updates to make any small changes before finalizing

Full HamThis is a DIGITAL commission

Price will range pretty greatly depending on the type, difficulty, and size of the background/foreground/props in the scene. Rough estimate for character comms with background art is +$5-50 AND UP, not including any extra fees that may apply
-Backgrounds may carry a 'complexity fee'
-Backgrounds may be sketched, inked, or colored
-Backgrounds are essentially an add-on for all other commission types
