Here are some rules and general guidelines:
HOW to commission:
1. Send me a note.
a.) This is a good opportunity to share what you want, at which point I can tell you if I can think I can do it, as well.
b.) Provides further opportunity for haggling. I have set prices and payment requirements, but I am willing to negotiate, within reason.
2. From here we proceed to the next step, depending on what you commissioned.
a.) Sketches and other lower priced works are set in price, and payment is due up front.
b.) All other tiers, I take your idea, and provide some concept sketches.
c.) You review the concept sketches, tell me what you like best, and ask for whatever revisions you would like made.
d.) At this stage, I require payment up front for the project in question.
e.) I work on your project. I like to keep in touch constantly throughout the work on the piece, as it's easier to make changes as I go,
3. ) The project will be worked on in the order it appears on my queue. Sketches may be done intermittently, as they take little time, an I can usually handle them in an hour or two. Line art and coloring will understandably take more time, depending on complexity of the project. It's hard to give an accurate time frame, as I now have a job that eats up a lot of my time. But, they will be done as soon as I can get them done. |

Animated IconsI know the example isn't an icon, exactly, as it's too big, but the principle is the same. Completed icons will be colored, and properly sized for use on FA.

Other InFoI am willing to do things like reference sheets, etc, etc.. but I have no examples, as I've not been asked to do any so far. Cost would be dependent upon the complexity of the sheet in question, and as such it's difficult to provide an adequate quote
Other than full shaded images, None of the pricing above includes backgrounds. A prop or two for setting scene is usually included, but more detailed or complex requests will add extra expenses. Backgrounds can be added to any image, with additional expense.
$8 for simple backgrounds, $15 for more complex.
Extremely detailed/complex backgrounds will be more.

Terms of Service
1. Payment:
All transactions are in USD, via paypal, and are to be up front.
No refunds will be issued for completed work, or anything past the stage of lineart.
2. Manners:
Mind your manners. I'll retain the right to terminate contract if I feel a client is being abusive or unprofessional.
3: Customer Satisfaction:
I'm more than happy to work with you on your image. I like to share plenty of images of the work in progress. As such, there should, ideally, never be a point or need make significant changes to the work in later stages of completion. That said, I like my customers to be happy. Communicate what you want with me, and we can work it out. Work can take anywhere from a couple hours to a couple weeks, dependent upon complexity and present workload.
4: Termination:
I retain the right to cancel/refund/refuse any commission.
5: Rights and Licensing:
Licenses CAN be purchased for any work I do. This is not included in the pricing mentioned above, but can be discussed with the original scope of work. Otherwise, customers are not permitted to claim 100% rights or profit off my work. I likewise retain the rights to use any image I create as an example of my work and skill. Customers may not modify, alter, resell or otherwise change the artwork in question without express consent from me.
