Commission InformationAt this time I am taking commissions only for texture work, primarily of VR avatars, if you have a model that is not a VR avatar that you want texture work done on, DM me and we can see whether I think I am able to do it for you.
Commission Rules:
- I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.
- Payment is due once we have details such as references, type, and scope, and before direct work on the textures begins. Add-ons such as clothing textures, alt versions, and the like may be paid for before delivery but after completion.
- Once completed and accepted as final and files handed over, the ownership and use of the textures given to you, are yours to use however you please! Credit for the work is still mine, and ownership of the originals I produce, such as substance painter files, remain with me.
- I reserve the right to use images of the completed textures/avatar for (entirely SFW) promotion, unless otherwise requested! If you want your commission to be completely private, that is absolutely fine, please let me know before completion.
- Avatar assembly/Unity work is complicated, time consuming, and not newbie friendly. I cannot provide free tutorials on everything, but will do my best to help where I can. Detailed consultation/avatar creation work I may be able to provide for a fee on a case-by-case basis, as my own familiarity with a specific issue/avatar/item/unity feature might be limited.
- Excessive reworks/redraw/edits will be limited, at most I will do two 'rounds' of edits without having to charge for additional work
- No refunds after work has begun.
- I am very open on what I'm willing to paint, SFW and NSFW - however I will not create NSFW cub/child/underage-related things, and reserve the right to refuse work that I find objectionable, or that I do not believe I can deliver with satisfactory quality.
The Process:
- Once I have accepted your commission, we will discuss details, desires, and any extras you want to add. Once we have agreed on these design elements, work will begin once initial payment has been received. This is where we will lock in what model is being worked on, and the expected scope of the textures
- During work if I encounter issues, questions, or suggestions, I will contact you for input to guide the process.
- Once a 'draft' (typically a completed 'layout' of the texture before adding small details like fur texturing, emission colors, etc) is completed, I will contact you with images of it for approval. This is where major changes can be made, ie. relocating spots or stripes, changing major markings.
- With the 'draft' approved, I will complete the remaining texture and again provide images and request input for smaller changes and edits. Unique to substance-based textures, at this point, major colors are often easily edited, but otherwise this is where smaller details would be discussed, such as a soft edge, or fur density, emissive intensity, etc.
- After any changes/edits are completed here, I will contact you again with the finalized design. This is the last point to request add-ons to go with your commission, such as clothing textures or alternate color palettes, etc.
- Delivery will vary depending on request. In some cases, I may be able to provide a *.unitypackage file that contains the textures and the materials together, but in most cases delivery will be in the form of a *.zip file with the texture exports included. At this point, any add-on payments will be due before the delivery of those add-ons. The texture files included will vary depending on desired export style (for instance, Resonite and most VRC shaders are quite different and should use different files to look best), multiple export styles do not cost extra (within reason). |

Full-Body Avatar TexturesA complete set of textures for a full VR (or similar) avatar or other complex item, generally containing up to three complete 4k texture sets.
THIS MAY VARY FROM AVATAR TO AVATAR - some avatars have a large quantity of separate texture areas, so there will be some exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Example 1: A Rexouium avatar has body, feather, 'misc', and eye texture sets by default. Feathers/misc are in the same texture space, but can be delivered either as one or separate textures, or excluded entirely (for more 'fox like' Rexs). Eyes and parts like the 'magpie' variant's genitals are generally free if simple, or could cost extra if complex detailing is required.
Example 2: A Nardoragon avatar has body, fluffs, 'misc' texture sets, but also additional hair, horn, and clothing options. Generally matching the hairs or antler variants to the commission will be free, unless highly complex, while custom textures for the clothing will cost extra. |

Accessories/Alternates/Complexity/etcThese can be requested separately, or as an 'add-on' in unlimited quantities on an avatar commission.
For simple recolors/color matching of add on parts such as hairs, genitals, jewelry, accessories, and clothing, the price is a minimum of $10, while complex complete overhauls or original textures ranging upwards of $50. This price may also be added if the base textures are excessively complicated, featuring extreme details that add significant time to the work (going beyond simply spots/rosettes/stripes and the like).
Example 1: adding on a 3rd party mesh hair to an avatar and wanting it to blend in, creating a custom, but simple color gradient for it, would be at the minimum price point.
Example 2: A custom clothing texture with simple colors but realistic materials, painted on details such as seams, patches, or (fabric like) mesh, would be at the mid-price point.
Example 3: An extremely complex clothing texture involving significant, time consuming hand painting, multiple parts, and several hours of work, would be at the maximum price point.
Accessory/add-on/complexity pricing is done on a per-accessory basis, and will be agreed upon prior to starting work. |

Unity WorkExtremely variable, but if you need my help with Unity, anything from just advice to fully setting up an avatar from scratch, custom menus, icons, etc.
Unity work can be very time consuming and extremely variable from avatar to avatar, project to project, while simple advice may only be a short answer. I will try to quote at the time of request, but may not be able to know the scope until already looking in to it |
