Terms of Service1. The Basics[/b] 1.1 - First and foremost, all potential clients must read and understand the terms and conditions that are listed here below. By sending payment, you are confirming that you agree with and will abide by the outlined guidelines and safeguards.
1.2 - These terms, conditions, and pricing are all subject to change. Any commissions already in progress upon such an update will not be held subject to those changes.
1.3 - You are commissioning me for my particular art style. While character defining features are one thing, I will not attempt to imitate another artist's style or technique.
1.4 - For legal reasons, by commissioning me, you agree that you and the character(s) you are submitting are of 18 years of age or older.
1.5 - Any submitted character(s) that is not under direct ownership of the client will require visual proof of consent, preferably a note/DM, from the character's owner in order to proceed. Gift or not, this is to ensure that all characters and their owners are treated with the due respect they rightfully deserve and that all parties involved are content with the nature of the commission.
1.6 - All communications between myself and the client are to be conducted with civility and confidentiality in mind. Please be reasonable about this. Both parties will agree that any disclosed personal information will not be shared beyond the envelope of this commission service.
1.7 - Harassment, aggression, vulgarity and any other unnecessary incessant behaviors or language will not be tolerated. You will get ONE clear warning, after such, a repeat offense will see the commission cancelled and refunded accordingly based on the amount of work done.
1.8 - I reserve the right to cancel, refund, and deny future commissions if the client is found to be intentionally violating or circumventing these terms and conditions for their own gains or ill intents.
1.9 - Above all else, I reserve the right to deny a commission if I do not feel comfortable or confident with the parameters or content being proposed. I will not explain my reasoning further than this.
2. Will Not[/b] 2.1 - Rush Orders; The undue stress of an expedited activity that is more of a pass-time for me than a career is not something I want to endure. Please plan accordingly if you have such intentions.
2.2 - The following listing of barred themes is likely to evolve over time, so please take a moment to ensure your intended commission DOES NOT touch upon any of these subjects:
//-- NFT's -- vore (all kinds) -- death/dismemberment/gore -- macabre/horror -- bdsm -- nonconsensual acts -- illegal acts -- drug use/paraphernalia -- harmful acts -- hateful acts -- incest -- minors/underage/loli/cub -- diapers -- bodily waste functions -- odor play -- feet focus -- anything anal -- extreme obesity/muscles -- excessive/unnatural body features -- M/M -- mpreg -- macro/micro -- nsfw feral interactions -- political/religious topics --//
2.3 - I will not make any exceptions to any of the subjects listed here. When I say no, it means no. Any effort to forcibly cross that line will be met with a commission proposal denial and see the commission cancelled even if it is already in production.
2.4 - Feel free to ask me if you are still uncertain about your idea, but an easy visual check is that if it isn't already in my galleries, then approach the subject with caution and have a backup in mind.
3. The Process[/u] 3.1 - Foreword: Drawing is a hobby I do for fun on the side when time permits. While some days I have ample time to devote to the craft and might complete pieces in relatively short order, other days I hardly have any time at all and it may take me longer than usual to fulfill certain commitments. As such, you will be informed of any potential delays as I become aware of them.
3.2 - To get things started: Note/DM me here, Discord, or email me at cenrissian.arts[at]gmail.com with the subject line stating what commission category you are interested in or if you have any other questions. Until money changes hands, there is no obligation to commit to the commission proposal. Just be prompt and honest with your communications and we'll see what happens from there.
3.3 - When putting in a commission request, please, please, PLEASE come ready with any and all possible visual reference materials, descriptors, and a solid idea on hand for me to properly gauge the amount of work being requested. FA, dA, Itaku, Weasly, artfight, and toyhouse links only please. The less details you provide, the more artistic freedom you grant me over the direction of the piece. The more detailed the request, the greater the likelihood there will be of a longer production cycle and the incurrence of additional proportional costs.
3.4 - This is a business transaction. Keep all communications focused on facilitating the commission process. Smalltalk, personal chatter, or simply failing to convey your commission details clearly will more than likely push the turnaround of the commission further out than what is ideal for both parties and could potentially result in the cancellation of the commission.
3.5 - There are a lot of extraneous variables to consider that can affect the production timeline. What follows is a very, very, VERY ROUGH ESTIMATE of what you can expect for each category:
---- Sketch: 1 week
---- Flat Color: 2-3 weeks
---- Reference Sheet: 4+ weeks
3.6 - Work-in-progress (WIP) images will be provided at key stages of the drawing process. Please be civil, courteous, and clear when delivering critique and feedback on any WIP revision details. Patience and understanding is greatly appreciated and will go a long way to facilitating a smooth commission process.
3.7 - A few small tweaks in the early stages are gratis. However repeated fixes, extensive edits or major revisions, provided they are valid and still within mid production, will incur additional proportional costs. Upon completion of the commission, no further changes will be permitted.
3.8 - For the sake of expediency and the limits of my skillset, only simple backgrounds such as single colors with simple shapes or gradients will be entertained at this time.
4. Payment Handling[/u] 4.1 - All prices are in USD (United States Dollar). Crypto and other digital-based currencies will not be accepted.
4.2 - Payment through PayPal is preferred and will require a valid PayPal associated email from the client for me to send the invoice to. Ko-fi & buymeacoffee are available as alternate payment platforms.
4.3 - The commission must be paid for in full upfront before I begin any work. Please be absolutely 100% sure that you have the full desire and funds to commit to this commission. RL>DLC
4.4 - For PayPal, an invoice will be sent once both parties agree to the terms and particular details of the commission. For Ko-fi & buymeacoffee*pizza, these will require inputting the appropriate payment amounts as directed. Please do not send any payment before I have requested you to do so.
4.5 - Ideally, all payments are due within 48 hours from the sending of the invoice. Any unannounced delays could result in the cancellation of the commission.
4.6 - If for some reason 'Life' happens, refund/cancellation requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis based on the amount of work completed at that time. I will do everything I can, within reason, to ensure you are satisfied with your commission. However, once a commission has been deemed finished and completed, there will be no refunds after that point.
4.7 - To that end, if I find myself unable to finish a commission due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond my control, you will be contacted accordingly to see what particular arrangements need to be made.
4.8 - If you find yourself feeling generous or extra appreciative of my work, then feel free to leave a tip if you'd like. Coffee or Pizza will do~
5. Distribution & Use[/u] 5.1 - As the creating artist, I reserve the right to post the finished commissioned artwork in my galleries and use it as portfolio material at my discretion. So please mention upfront if the piece is to be private-only or if anonymity is desired so that I can take it into account.
5.2 - If a commission is cancelled, for any reason and at any point, I may reuse the pose or sketch for future works after removing any distinguishing details/traits/features of the originally commissioned character(s).
5.3 - Clients are free to repost commissioned pieces to their own socials AS LONG as I am given the appropriate credit and mention for the creation of the piece.
5.4 - Commissions are for personal, non-commercial use and enjoyment only.
5.5 - Commissions are not to be republished for personal profits, NFT blockchain platforms, or AI training purposes.
