READ before contacting meI'm a high communication artist regarding commissions, as I deeply care to give someone what they want! If you don't want that and prefer a "give details and get art" experience instead, please only order "surprise" commissions, as those are low communication.
My style of interaction is:
-Discussing details before accepting payment to see if I/you feel confident in my abilities for your idea (this does not guarantee a slot, and payment may be at an later date //1-4 weeks// when you have the funds)
-I'll give some rough sketches with ideas, once you pick, all refunds will become partial as I start to clean it up and start the lines. Refunds aren't possible after lineart is finished.
-I'll show every stage for you to check for mistakes. For anatomy/clothing mistakes (example, drawing 4 claws when the character is meant to have only 3) must be pointed out in the sketching/line art phase, for coloring mistakes must be pointed out during the coloring phase and etc. Pointing out mistakes in the wrong phase will likely require extra funds due it becoming very hard. (It's free in the correct phase!)
-I'll contact you every stage finished, or if I'm uncertain on a certain part of the drawing, or at least every 10 days to show progress, even if a phase hasn't been finished (to show I'm still working on it!)
What I require of a customer
-An image/reference that fits the commission type (fullbody for fullbody commissions), but I can work with additional descriptions //I charge designing fees for description-only references//
-I'm fine with translators, but I only talk in English online. If you need me to use simpler words, please tell me! :D
-I can't work constant with slow replies (10+ days), as I prefer to finish most commissions in 3-5 weeks. However, if it only happens 1-2 times or an emergency came up, then it's fine! Just please communicate it with me.
-I do have some health issues and extreme heatwaves in the summer. For non-summer seasons, I'll give myself an 2 month max to finish the commission, if I fail that, you'll be automatically refunded unless agreed on otherwise. For summer seasons, there's an 3 month limit to finish the commission. Delays that last longer than 7 days will be communicated! As I prefer to finish commissions in 3-5 weeks
--I'm ok with moodboards, red-lining/circling my mistakes, real life reference images, etc. If it helps you to make yourself clear, I'm ok with it! I'd prefer you to overexplain yourself than not tell me enough-- |

!! I have the right to decline a commission, and cancel commissions if I'm made uncomfortable/disrespected if the behaviour continues. (Money WILL BE returned) !!
1. When contacting me, I'll assume you've the money now. *Tell me* if it's not the case (I'm willing to accept funds in 2-3 weeks!) Funds will be accepted after we discuss and agree on an idea.
2. You are responsible for correcting me if I misinterpret/mistake details in the reference. You'll have plenty of chances to do so! (Correct me in the right phase, then it'll be free. Correct me in the wrong phase //line art mistake during shading phase//, then it'll require a fee)
3. I only work with adults, as I use services that only allow 18+ users
4. Unless told otherwise, I'll display the commission if I'd like to
--You'll receive a watermarked and watermark-free version, ONLY share the watermarked version! Ignore this, and I'm unlikely to help you with taking down unpermitted reuploads--
A. Be upfront with what you want: I have a no-shaming policy. Do not lie/mislead me to avoid extra costs. Extra fees may depend on my level of comfort, some things will be fully rejected (legal or personal reasons)
B. I must ALWAYS be credited for my art, and the credit MUST be clear (no small text, text colored in a way it's easy to miss, it's preferred you credit me either at the top or end of the description, username in title is very appreciated!)
C. Refunds are partial after the sketch is (close to) finished. Refunds won't be given after the line art is done. Full refunds are granted only for emergencies WITH proof. (When a refund is requested, you'll be locked from buying anything from me for 3-12 months, this is to ensure you'll have enough time to recover money to buy from me again.)
D. With your personal license, you are allowed to make small-scale production (stickers, t-shirts, etc). But the amount must be less than 15, and can't be sold or used to promote anything. -To have more freedom in this, it requires an license upgrade-
E. Once the art is done, you are allowed to edit it! (Crop, flip it, put a filter on it, draw on it, etc) You are allowed to add the following: identity flags/marks, non-political flags, inoffensive objects. But I do not allow edits that: are known to offend, cause drama, intentionally upset people, or incite political or fandom wars. You may also not add fetish/NSFW to SFW commissions. I do not allow text edits either. (too many issues with that)
F. You are responsible for archiving and safekeeping your commissioned art (both watermarked and unwatermarked), I can easily recover files within 1 month of the art being finished, but after that: you must provide a year and month, -if possible- a day. I cannot guarantee I can recover them however. |
