A relic of the dinosaurs, as most birds are, the Hoatzin has to claws on it’s wing digits that it uses to hang off of things and climb! Because of being in it’s own genus, and with a much more antiquated body structure for a New World bird of northern South America, it’s evolutionary tract is much disputed.
