I could guess that they either teleported from somewhere around the world...or that it was more of a time-travel thing...either way, it seems like they had quite the adventure. :)

Actually, in universe it was a trans-galactic teleport from another world. Tsarin just inherently took them back to a safe house on his homeworld! There's a lot more backstory than could be shown in a short comic. x3
