Now this is a first. Arranging an 8-bit chiptune of another 8-bit chiptune! This song originally on Game Boy Color is the catchest chiptune I have ever heard, and I haven't even played Pokémon Trading Card Game before! And I'm certainly not the first person to manually arrange this in FamiTracker (YouTube is proof), but the sheer memorability of the song drove me to arrange it as well as I could manage as a proof of concept.
This is the version using Konami VRC6 expansion sound hardware, with a sawtooth for the bass. I also made a separate version using the NES's default 2A03 to see how good it could still sound using a triangle wave for bass. Click here to download the FTM and NSF files for both versions.
