Oh, something that actually looks like a fennec! But may I suggest bringing the 'tears' down just a tad more? Like so: http://cdn2.arkive.org/media/ED/ED7.....n-entrance.jpg
This is literally a generic fennec fox. o.0 https://www.google.com/search?q=fen.....24&bih=960
Maybe you should add some unique qualities/colors/designs to your character?

Hey dude, I'm trying to make a generic fennec! That's the point :P - that link you put? I used at least 9 of those very pictures for my reference textures. I even colour picked off several. I ain't re-inventing the wheel friend, genetics made a fennec look the way they look and my job is to make them into furries for SL, not a new species. Believe me I'm not against a new species - I might try to invent one, but if you tell me my fennec is generic, well I can only pat myself on the back ;3. - Wait for the LE's if you want something unique.
um, no. I was responding to the person I commented to... o.o they were referring to this looking like their character, and I was explaining to them that this is what a real fennic looks like, marking wise, and that if they wanna be more original they should add something.
Very nice, Fennecs aren't my thing but I do appreciate a good looking avatar. Then again I had fennecs in mind somewhat when I created the fulpyn sub race of the kymera mainly because I had this crazy notion of one of main groupings be a combination of human, fennec and cheetah. But that's just my insanity as a writer and a pen and paper game designer.
This looks really promising. It's about time a new fennec was released. My only thing would be, I think the size / shape of the head should be adjusted a little so that minimal modding is required to get the avatar to work with third party hair attachments. I had to modify taurin's raawr 2.0 red fox to get his hair to work, and it was pretty difficult. That, coupled with the texturing on the avatar being a touch too intense with the highlights for the strands of fur were the only two things I found "wrong" with it, and overall I love it.
Keep it up :>

This looks great and has most certainly jumped to a very high spot in my list of possible avs I'll be buying!
But... After recently purchasing the Raawr Husky for a friend and helping them get it set up, I would like to say that I was rather annoyed with the rigged legs. Unless your avatar is 'just the right size' the legs (calves) end up being far too 'wide'... I would suggest strongly that you either thin the legs a bit, use size modifiable mesh or add prim/sculpted legs that can be resized.

Yes, laugh at the older users that might still enjoy using them. They may bot be as fancy and neat as mesh, but the usability is still very high, Especially now that we have Alpha layers instead of 'invisiprims'. I also know a LOT of people that still use flexi tails and clothes, too. Just because mesh might be the new thing, doesn't make it the best. It's also a pain in the ass to mod without the proper programs, or if you aren't able to afford to commission someone to mod it.
I've seen a number of Fennecs in Second Life tna most of them are pretty bad, like a red panda head on a fox body with kluged rabbit ears that don't even fit. This one looks good, in fact I may buy it when it comes out although I tend to prefer ordinary foxes. Anyway, this fennec is very well done and actually looks like a fennec and not an assembly of other anthro parts. Kudos!
