You get no points for guessing my favorite scene of the movie.
So much raw emotion and just perfect character interaction ... that little grabby hand ... *sigh* of all the wonderful scenes and feels that movie evoked in me, this one I know will forever stay with me
I may give illustrating this scene another 'proper' shot some time when I'm not right back home from a party, tired as shit and actually have to get up for work the next morning and so willing to give it more than just a sketchy fly-by, but I know I'll never do it real justice.
The sketch took me ... maybe ~10 minutes on the second go? Colors took a little longer, but minus all the time I clicked through refs and fixing unnecessary tidbits here and there, this took about 30 minutes altogether. Not perfect, but I'm still re-learning Photoshop after all ... and damn I need to do something about the color settings on my wacom @.@
Anyway, nightynights

You are not alone in having this as a favorite scene. It was mine as well. That little seeking grey bunny-paw. I could feel her relief... I am sure I have been that way at some point in my life... so stressed and upset and fearful and then someone I care about just lets the light in and I feel like they took something so heavy away from me and I didn't realize how tired I was from holding it that I can barely stand. This scene reached me on a very personal level and it was just beautifully done.
Easily the best scene of the movie. I think my favorite part about it was that she doesn't didn't expect him to forgive her. She knew just how badly she hurt him and understood why he would continue to hate her, yet he so easily forgave her because he knew how deeply sorry she was.
"You are stepping on my tail- off! Off! OFF!"
Loved so much of the film! So many little details for repeat viewing. There's even a little "squish" noise when Judy puts her head on Nick's chest, as if she's shedding so many tears that she's soaked his shirt upon contact.
Oh and hopefully this is factual news about the blu-ray: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7463428/

My general assumption was that Nick is smart enough to know A) that she'd come around and apologize sooner or later, and B) everything that was going to come after the "They're toxic flowers."
I mean, in that massive a city, he just happens to be lounging around waiting under the bridge? And he stops walking away from her right at the other side of the bridge.
"Alright, she's following. . . She's following. . . Alright, perfect acoustics. Now let her cry it out, hit record and don't release until you hit gold."

This scene felt so genuine, honest...real. A lot of emotions packed into just a few moments and i absolutely loved it. It was right at this moment i felt Nick and Judy's chemistry just click. And I realized how perfect they were for each other, as friends and even more so. I've never been a 'shipper' so to speak, but my heart yearns for these to to be together.
You captured this moment perfectly, beautifully done.
