So, this is Hailinn. Another shota to my collection. The "Hail" is pronounced like the frozen rain. His nick-name is Haily. Cute, isn't it? ^.=.^

First, his story, the short version.
Hailinn is currently 9 years old. When only an infant, Haily was found and adopted by the King and Queen of an underwater paradise-like city called Illyria, this became the only Prince and heir to the throne one day. Haily is a Japanese River Otter, which all thought to have been extinct for some time, thus is assumed he is the last of his kind and very valuable in both good and bad senses. Although taught to act like a prince, Haily often shirks his duties and escapes to the surface world to run free, his rebellious nature shining free, thus his attire, except the accessory he always has behind his ear either attached to his hair or his cap. It a royal accessory, given only to the prince. It also has many uses.
Among his people, Haily is what is known as a Water Weaver, the highest class of water wielder. Only the older citizens can even control water in simple form and way. This adds even more value to Haily.

So now let's go over the character's creation, eh? ^.=.^
So, at first, I was gonna draw more fanart for Jijix's Shale , but then my mind started wandering... but I was still drawing Shale. Some time later, I was for some reason thinking about the name "Haley" and then I said "hmm... well... I think I wanna make my own character!" I didnt want to start over, so I used what I had and changed quite a lot of stuff to make it original, and that was only on the head and shoulders, such as the style of hair, its color, accessories and I gave him more of a traditional skull cap instead of Shale's loose fitting one (if thats what it is X3 ) For his color scheme, I honestly only made him blue monochrome because I wanted to associate it with water ^^; I just let him keep the hoody <..< And lastly, the pose. I thought I draw him doin some Water Weaving ( <-- How about that for a name of a style? ^.=.^ ). I thought about it for a long while and kept thinking of Avatar (of course) so then I decided "ok... he'll move water, but... lets have him do the way Toph would earthbend" So I spend hours going through the entire Earth Kingdom episodes until I found a pose I liked. It was open and flowy. Perfect. So I reffed it, but wind up only needing arm position reffing (so many hours wasted!) and ended up with this. Threw some more colors on, did the background and Haily was born ^.=.^
