The Swarm is an unknown entity that is often perceived as strange, black pixels floating around endlessly, anything that has been taken by the Swarm is reputed to be devoid of color. Shades of their former selves, supposedly beyond help.

Is Franxis corrupted by the Swarm? Who knows. But he's certainly a little odd for a Gremlin...
