Been trying to up my shading game by trying out different stuff, mainly high contrast shading this time, i wanna rely less on the blur tool~
So what better way to do so than with a dimly lit wrestling ring, and a hefty Guilmon hunk to fill it, also i felt real clever coming up with that name x3

What a prominent figure! Sturdy and very solid. I would certainly not want to be called up to the ring having him as my opponent! Also his confident and very sullen expression only make him more prepared to wrestle anyone. You did a very good job with the lighting. It really brings the entire picture together and makes it look cohesive. And I have to say, the cherry on top is his name. Such a clever play on words. I can't believe I never thought of it before when it was so blatantly evident. It suits him perfectly. Wonderful job, as always, Luke! Can't believe you keep on improving on your already-amazing style!
O-oh my gooshhh, I’d certainly have heaps of trouble trying to keep myself together with this utter hunk of a gulimon in the ringggg, I’d most likely require a bunch of tissues for when the match starts honestly, thick hunks in snug spandexes do have quite an effect on me…~ >//////>

Love the overall shape of the character, however really loving the head/face here! Just a hint of a snide grin, the semi-translucent ears lit from behind, while his sharper features (eyebrow ridges, top of snout, forward section of the chin, edges of his neck frills) catch the light, his broader features like the broad portions of his snout and sweep of his neck are shadowed. Also his "pecs" rolling over and forming that dark crease with his upper gut, so nice!

Speaking of wrasslin', omg is that a CUTIE~ <3 <3 That physique is perfect, but what sells it is that look he gives, so intense. ^.///.^
Really works well given the thickness of his brow too; makes him look all the more reptilian, for lack of a better term. XP

You try blending the shading with the brush tool, 100% blending, 100% distibution (I think I really don't remember the middle one) it's preety fun, you could also shade with a light source for example something that fits and shines, take a look ay my simplistic lemongrab at deviantart for a clue I can't really explain that light shading (I literally mean it like, Light)
