Holy shit what the fuck that lighting is so fucking good.
I love your choice of colours for the shadows, you really do a great job of showing the humidity in the air reflecting light and the warm colours in the shadows from it being bright. My favourite bit for this is the top right corner of the painting, that little square of foliage just looks PERFECT.
I can't find a single damn thing to criticize about this. Your lighting, your anatomy, your perspective, your use of colour and your composition.
I've followed you for years and in my opinion this is the best work you've ever uploaded. You've developed so much as an artist since your early work and I respect your dedication to your craft. This is one of the best paintings I've ever seen, full stop. Thank you for posting this.

And thank you very much for following alongside for that long :) It always sounds very cliche but i can pretty much guarante that i wouldn't be doing this anymore without the community this site in particular has provided, which obviously includes you as well alongside everyone else.
I'm very glad that you enjoy it as much, as i do enjoy it very much myself, always good to know that my own intuitions aren't always wrong about my paintings but, let's hope that it'll have to make room over there on the top spot very soon! :D
