I feel like with how some of the girls are, it was more about how they weren't getting anything productive done because of the "side effects" than anything else.

Reports say the girl involved did recover her ability to walk eventually, but is quoted as saying it "wasn't worth it".

While the guy involved probably had a broken pelvis. "I made snu-snu."

I've never been entirely comfortable with the whole "Males go ragemode but females do not" thing, from a gender politics perspective, but it's undeniably a powerful plot device. I'm interested to see more details on it.

It's interesting to note here how Lars is having an informative conversation here. But the relic in the cave that almost got Vix killed seemed to be rooted more in emotions and trying to geta threesome out of Rose, Vix and Fenfen.

I'm guessing each relic has it's own purpose and way it goes about helping the terriforming project. My guess is the one in the cave was responsible for managing and influencing the growth of the population, perhap?

The other one had no means of direct communication and was more occupied with defending itself. We'll get around to why ;)
