Fen is a strong lady with a big sword. She also has another big sword but that one's sheathed for now-

Love the Among Us reference. Also, a number of people are making suggestions about what the ‘Chainsword’ is a reference to, but given the literal name, it could be a reference to Warhammer 40k chainswords (think a sword version of a Gears of War Lancer).

You want a real curve ball, throw in a few guns or more advanced tech using opponents. Flying enemies always are a nuisances for melee users.

Technically it could be made to match any weight, depending on how well the wielder can visualize that aspect. Fen likes'em heavy, she stronk.

One day she'll realize she doesn't need the chain to control that sword from a distance. Or swords. If she can manage 5 shadow copies of herself she should be able to control 5 flying swords.

This is what Jedi training should be, right? Start with a lightsaber and then outgrow the weapon.
Let her outgrow the mindset of physical combat on her own pace, get used to the possibilities of her heritage.

Physical contact makes it easier to maintain the object, but we'll see what she ends up with eventually ;)
