That's as good as midi timpani tends to get :/
if your lookng to make it stronger, sometimes I try layering a double note... for example if I have a C note, I'll try to make it a bit stronger by putting another c note, but one octive lower to give it a bit more of a bassy runmble.
I tend to do that with Timpani and Tubular bells, try it out and see if ya like it.
