I’m guessing he had enough time (and intuition) to put on his plot armour before Fen went briefly to the dark side. Smart guy, but if she goes looking him up, how is going to feel about seeing her? Also, if he’s still in the same town, that also happens to be the town she had to run away from, so, maybe we will be getting a story arc about her going back to face her past?

Oh yeah, that'll be so interesting, tbh I've been dying to see the village reaction when fen shows up and they realize that she is not only more powerful then all of them combined, but is now a part of a Sisterhood with presumably enough influence to make their lives hell. Not to mention fen having to go back will be so interesting!!!

All that is confirmed is that he is missing an arm. The rest of his lower boy can be hidden by his upper body and the wreckage.

Well we can't see his legs but we don't see any blood from that direction so I think its safe to assume he isn't a Feretta version of Lt. Dan. Although arterial bleeding is nasty business and for his wound it would've had to be cauterized to stem the bleeding.

I see the answers here to the question who Baren is, but they don't help, so I'm gonna say it's been too long for me to remember.

On a side note and as very unlikely this may be to happen given whats happened, I wonder if Fen and Baren will spend time together and if Fen has some Hadalen magic that would give Baren his arm back although it would only be in her presence it would be maintained. We'll have to wait and see. :)

Eeep. I got a lot of theories on Baren's current state, and although they do make him alive, none of them are good.

Holy hell Baren's alive? I thought he died when an entire roof of the tavern just up and collapsed on him? I thought that was why Fen was so distraught since she thought she killed him. Welp I don't know how he survived that but I hope we find out and that the man anit too worse for wear.
