Love at first dance
I'm in the early stages of planning an animated music video of Fen and Vix's first meeting in their real world, to the tune of Shut Up And Dance With Me by Walk The Moon.
Fen's a depressed sex worker leaving a job for the night and takes her earnings to a nearby lounge bar to get drunk. Vix works as a singer for the bar, walks out on stage and blows Fen's mind immediately. Fen catches Vix's eye and she drags the fennec up on stage with her.

...this...is gonna be amazing~! Please ask us, your fans, if you need any financial help cause animation from you would be f**kin' awesome and this scenario is not only romantic and sweet but allows for some fluid movement and emotion through expressions and movement! But if you feel like blowing us away by revealing how their voices sound by giving them some dialogue, that would be kickass too!

I can't remember the sources (and am too lazy to look) but the short of it is that the comic Feretta does is a sort of a show in the meta universe the characters live in. Fen and Vix and the others are actors who play in the show, and stuff that happens outside of the show is in a the "real world" of the characters.
Of course, with the way the Tails comic is going...if Fen manages to save the world..who's to Fen and Vix's real world isn't just them being reborn in some future era with the world either moved on, or fully healed. In my head I could see it happening, even if cannonically its not right.
So, Vix isn't a singer; she's a singer-dancer? That would mean that, in the song, there's a relatively long instrumental riff to allow her to dance. (I don't know anything about the song other than the words you posted here.) Back in the 30s and 40s, such a situation was common with bands if their singer could also dance.
