Regarding Mr. Bimble; I find it hilarious how he almost defiantly doesn't have hands or appendages like pretty much everybody else in the cast.

It's 100 pages on chapter six so I wouldn't worry over much about the page numbers. I wouldn't say out of control either, just ideas happen and things change. That and I already stuffed the start of chapter seven so.. >_>

They have airmail if I recall. Though rumblings in the Iron Gates have made some workers worried about their jobs in recent times. Or was that a few years ago?

I was sort of thinking about how being a traveling book and knickknack sales person would make getting mail tough. But then Mr. Bimbles might have a warehouse and a P.O. box near a home where he stays between trips.

Still, at times it's interesting to think about how this world mixes with a new world and old world aesthetic.

I'm sure he has a place to store books etc that he can't carry. Good chance if they can't find him when they fly around they would leave it there or in a place he often returns to. Though it could still be a matter of him expecting the letter and going where it will be.

He's got flipper magnets that can attach to paper. Now, THERE are magnets I wish I had. LOL.

I have a theory on his gripping technique.

Has anyone heard of cupping?

It is a therapeutic process where someone takes a flame and dips it into a glass cup. the cup is then applied to the skin of the back, the drastic change in temperature causes suction. Another example of this is in canning, you boil the jars and lids before you fill it with your preseves, and as it cools, it creates a vacuum seal.

I believe our wise Mr. Bumble is employing the same technique on a much smaller level. He is using his solarin magic to create heat pockets in the pores of his flippers, than when the theuch cooler surface of objects, it creates suction. When he wants to let go of something, he just heats up his hands, canceling the suction.

Just a theory, I hope you enjoy.
