I hope that little string of magic she has attached to those two black blobs she put on the sandwich isn't the equivalent of a "quarter on the string and the vending machine."

It could simply be she needs something attached so she can use her magic to gain some distance from her. But who knows.

I have to admit, this is a bit risky on Mis and Fenfen's part. Getting caught by roving bandits on your own can be really dangerous. And before anyone mentions her powers, just remember Fenfen needs her sleep like anyone else.

But hey, at least the creepy little water fowls are kind of cool. And they like sandwiches it seems. Not sure if that's healthy. But that's also kind of suspicious. Like they're use to being fed by people.

They tend to watch people no matter what they are doing near water..

From what I can see, likely the magic she put around it, the Hadalen construct, is to keep the sandwich from flying apart as it's flung.
