I've not gone to the streams so I don't know the deep lore, but just from the comics so far it appears that this world has a complete spectrum of genders, sexes, sexualities, etc and I don't think we've seen a character so far who had a hard gender preference (while also being leaded in canon). People are people and getting down and dirty is fun (with consent).

Unfortunately the subject matter of this page contains multiple things that can short-circuit some people's rational thought processes. It never fails that some will attempt to apply their real-world understanding of such things to the fictional setting of the work they're reading, and then get confused and upset when things don't quite add up.
That is the risk good artists and writers take, and the fact that this comic page can inspire such... spirited debate as there was at the top of this comment section is a testament to the quality of the work.

This is why mainstream movies, comic books, etc are so watered down these days, and devoid of any kind of spice or flavor. Thank you, Feretta, for being willing to tackle things like this, and being unwilling to allow people to turn your comic into yet another weapon to be used in the political war that is going on these days, and thank you for not watering down your comic, or the world it takes place in. These things happen in reality, and it would be silly if they didn't happen in the comic's 'verse, too.
