((This is a digigrade version of my previous upload. All the information is the same, the only difference is the legs.))
Tonight I want to show you how to make the model sheets I draw work better for you, by showing you the difference between male, femboy, and female body types and how to use this knowledge to "adjust" a model sheet I've made to suit your needs.
Each model here is equal in size and proportion, to help make it easier to notice the differences between them. Let's explore those differences, shall we?
THE MALE BODY
The male body's chest is broader than the female and the femboy's chests. The broader (wider) the shoulders, the more manly the male will look. Also, the male has a larger, sturdier stomach than the female. If you look at his hips, you see they're square and narrow, an important trademark for a male character, and his legs are less curvy than a woman's. Lastly, a man's neck and upper back muscles (trapezium) are often more visible than that of a woman's, which is why I drew it in there between the shoulders and the head.
So, if you want to make a model sheet look male, simply widen the shoulders, avoid giving the legs too much shape, and make the hips square. The man's arms should be able to comfortably hang at his sides without touching his hips. Males also usually have thicker necks and arms than a woman, and don't forget the Adam's Apple!
THE FEMBOY BODY
Can also be used to draw prepubescent females and males
Femboy's are a place between male and female. Generally, some people draw them simply as women without breasts, but genetically and realistically you should draw them as males with less testosterone in their systems than normal. If you look, you can see I gave the femboy very narrow shoulders (like a prepubescent boy) and slightly wider hips than a male, but the waist is the same size. I also gave the femboy thinner arms and more shapely legs. This will give your femboy a feminine look without betraying his male roots.
So, if you want to draw a femboy, narrow the shoulders to give the body a lithe look, widen the hips just a little, and round their bottom to make it more appealing. Their arms and legs can be more male or more female depending on your personal taste, but most people go for more feminine.
THE FEMALE BODY
The female body is most often the type of body I draw when making model sheets, as I am female and primarily work with female characters. Their tummies are thin, their hips are wide, and they have a lovely hourglass shape that only mother nature can provide. ^_^
I also tend to give them meatier legs, as it makes them more shapely.
Now that you know how to distinguish between body types, it should be easy to take one of my model sheets you like the pose of, and adjust it to fit your needs. Simply change the small bits that need changing before beginning to draw your character.
I hope this helps, if only as a lesson on body types and how to draw them.

I don't terribly care either way, as I've seen it for years in Japanese manga. However, I was concerned that some people drawing feminine men would take it too far and draw them with full female bodies (which isn't correct). That's why I added the femboy version in there.
Though, thinking about it, you could also use the femboy version for drawing prepubescent girls and boys, since neither have developed hips or wide shoulders yet and are almost identical before hitting puberty.
Why are you repulsed by femboys? Are you repulsed by overly-muscular men as well?

No, I'm not repulsed by femboys. I'm pretty sure you've misunderstood me completely. That's why I specifically didn't say "femboy". I was actually happy you'd added in a middle ground, because what I AM repulsed by is people that don't get that you can have a femmy boy without just slapping a penis on a volutuous woman and calling it a legitimate man.
I'm not repulsed by herms either, don't get me wrong. Or... overly-muscular men, either.
I just don't like seeing something that is not, and could never be a "full" man, being called a man.

And I sound totally serious business here, I'm sure, but I honestly don't care much either. Hence the word "mildly". x3
I don't even like porn. The addition of a femal with a dick being called a man doesn't really make it worse. It just shows me that an artist is still in their budding stages.

Lmao for femboy "you should draw them" that was your worst mistake it's fictional art they can be drawn however the artist wants. For example "some simply draw them as women without breasts" I myself find that to be a very pleasing look because of how ugly and terrible breasts look. Like giant sagging pimples on the chest just ruinning the shapely hourglass figure.
