Agreed. I have some new respect for Sonia now. She was mature enough to point out the flaws while also admitting what the other did better. Good for her.

Plus, antagonizing another student for no reason in front of your teacher when you literally have nowhere else to go without incurring serious hardship you're not used to?

Also a fair analysis. They could end up complimenting eachother and helping eachother grow quite well if they can get along. They both have opposite shortcomings and strengths.

Complementing one another does have its uses. Sonia's fast and effective, but that's a short dash. Linda is just as effective and presumably can last a lot longer, but she's slow. So Sonia's the quick shield while Linda pulls out the cannon.

Ideally. There are some things that can only be explained, but the true learning comes from experience and repetition.

Visualization, for example. If you can't focus on an image, it will always be rough and an approximation of what you intend. Takes a lot of work to make the image clearer over time. At least, from my experience.

Once this girl gets over the chip on her shoulder, I really think she'll be a nice one. She clearly has a brain in her head and doesn't seem as self indulgent when calm.

Gosh, the 4th panel is so cute! She's so satisfied with that she did and reaping the rewards by sitting comfortably and she's got that adorable tail! Ahhhhh! Socute!

Wow, that's a surprisingly gentle critique, I think she gets she's not among enemies at the very least.

Now I really want to see Fen just turn into a dragon to flex a bit on everyone, all 'This is what you'll get to do eventually' style.

You spend enough time around Lamb and Fen, you kinda forget that Hadalen wasn’t originally supposed to be used for combat.
Not all about making weapons and giant cannons and turning into a dragon.

Also love the Penguins reference.

Fen had only one brief experience with Hadalen magic before she came to the temple, and didn't exactly feel encouraged to try using it again before that point, so unlike these girls, she started from bare minimum.

Uhm, so Hadalen users can also... feel each other's 'magic'? I mean speed is easy to analyze, but energy and essence parts? Or they can feel the Hadalen matter in some way?

I mean, there's a visual aspect to it, Sonia had a huge, thick trail of essence she was throwing around, Linda used much thinner lines. It's like painting.
