Maria (Fen's adoptive mother in ToT) met Snaps when Snaps tumbled out of a portal gone awry and bashed her horn open on the concrete steps of Maria's home. Maria took the little creature in, taught her the language, and the two of them fixed up Maria's old hippie van together, so Snaps could have a place of her own. She's small enough to not be bothered by the size of it, after all.

As her name implies, her demon-eye ability is taking snapshots of whatever she's looking at. She also does photography with actual cameras.

Snaps (and the rest of the Impkin species) was born from  Dreadwolf's mind.
