Exactly. As the saying goes, "no plan ever survives contact with the enemy" (or "No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength"). It's important to have a broad view of what you want to happen, but be flexible enough to make changes as you go day by day or as the plan "Makes contact with the enemy".

Just waaaay off where it was supposed to be headed, not that I noticed, story flowed well and provided good characterisation to a major character.
I guess in a comic where there is the possibility of things happening in space, the phase can be confusing.

Friga Helsdottir, one of the ones lamb rescued. she seemed really hyped when given the offer to train in the school, so i can only assume that she's going through some disconnect between what she thought she'd be doing and what the actual training is.
