Honestly my French classes kicked in while reading this. I read Corgal Shine as Corgal Chien, Chien meaning dog in French so basically Corgal Dog.

I accidentally named him Corgi Dog, that's fantastic.

Well, great, now I have to re-read the entire comic just so I get her voice right in my head. =P Though I'm glad I at least picked up on the British accent.

"Sha's voice is captain Amelia for context" - Well here's hoping Sha has better judgement in her crew choices than Amelia did.

That always bothered me about Treasure Planet. Amelia is portrayed as being this rigerous, methodical captain - and apparently just content to set sail with whatever dregs they happen to find at the harbor for a crew. Did she just disband the entire crew on docking and replace them with pirates? Surely there's some loyal people besides the first mate who stuck around besides the first mate. Or that they wouldn't go "Uh...First mate, go back and find ANOTHER crew" rather than sail with the obviously sketchiest 'we're pracitcally ADVERTISING a mutiny at the first opportunity' crew and no one whatsoever loyal to her on it. That's not just suspention of disbelief, it's throwing basic common sense overboard.

Keeping crew aboard when you're not actively doing anything is really expensive, and presumably Doppler found crew first and ship second.
