She tried, but she really should'a avoided making Fen QUITE so mad about it.

That top survived a lot. But it didn't survive getting one's ass kicked. Interesting that one can mimic the use of Hadalen energy using this tattooed seal, though.
I suppose it's fun to see the arrogant brought low, but I do wonder -- if she doesn't accidentally kill Alyza (unlikely but that would be a curveball) what Fen is gonna do with her prize

Making your enemy angry can work when their anger makes them sloppy. When it makes them make mistakes. It can allow you to lure them into traps they might otherwise notice, allowing you to us intelligence to take advantage.
However, when the enemy fights without holding back, the question is always “can you survive long enough to take advantage of the situation?”
Sometimes, being mad just means they fight harder AND smarter.

Sometimes, there is focus to be found in fury, where instead of going all the way to a simple, one track mind way of thinking (which is where you become predictable and easily outmaneuvered), the mind instead sharpens to focus on a singular objective, blocking out all external distractions. It's like getting active thought and instinct to work in tandem rather than one generally overriding the other.
Forgot to answer this, the TLDR is that I've watched a lot of action movies and I have Pinterest and google if I need specifics. It's mostly 30 years of mental libraries though. Learning general rules of making dynamic poses is also important, understanding perspective and foreshortening does a lot of the work.
