I wouldn't be surprised if she finds some empathy soon, but the first thing on her mind was knowledge, and that proved to be a false lead. So of course the first thing going through her head is disappointment. Not the fact that there is now a child that's alive and in a completely different era with no family. Even so, she isn't going to take responsibility for the kid so it's still not her problem. The owl is practical to a fault.

That isn't really an issue though. There are more than enough caring individuals around that if they do wake up the child, she will be cared for. As far as Sha is concerned, this child has nothing to do with her and all her wild hopes and dreams for this specific scenario are well and truly dead.

My headcanon for this is that Sha gets so excited while heading to the pods that they need to place multiple "Slippery when wet" floor signs along the passage and a "Clean up in aisle" announcement for the spot beside the terminal where she was offered a guide to the pod.

I mean, it really depends. Kids tend to be a good general measure of "common knowledge" filtered down... and given the nature of the bunker in general I'd not put any money on the kid knowing nothing of use.

I get that, I feel the same way whenever I meet a child.
