Perhaps, but there's still a definite possibility of movement. The best sniper position is the prone position. Movement is reduced to almost nothing and you don't have to hold the rifle continuously before you're ready to take your shot.

It also could be a magic rifle with its own stabilization. Fictional piece after all

Well, true. I will admit that that thought never crossed my mind. And, of course, it could have internal stabilizers and the equivalent of a camera's focus stabilization which would allow the handler to "point and shoot".

And a sniper wouldn't expose themselves to such a degree, indeed. But yes, a very beautiful piece :P

I learned the value of a abandoned apartment complexes playing DayZ. So long as you only take one shot and move immediately after there is basically no way to return fire or even identify what building/floor the shot came from.

I love the detail of the tail against the wall, it looks like they are using it to brace their weight and keep steady as well as from falling from the window.
