Since Oswald and Mickey are brothers, and though they are related to their creator Walt Disney. I created Oswald and Mickey's parents. Oswald and Mickey's father is a rabbit and Oswald and Mickey's mother is a mouse.

Uh, Mickey Mouse seems to be retconned and rebooted! The old Mickey Mouse strip that had running stories and continuity was replaced by a gag strip, but I feel that the continuity was still held to.
Now Disney appears to have retconned Mickey as a hybrid toon.
By the way, a long, still unfinished fan-fic on the Warners established them as related to Black Pete and Bosco (the Talk-ink Kid).The business with the water tower is studio hype.
