Background: Chryona White paw, Was a manimal created by Dr. Moreau for a secret project code named Deepfreeze but before the project could be put into action, Dr. Moreau was defeated by a team of superheroes, Many of the Manimal were saved and decided to stay on Monster Island. A few however decided that they wanted to live elsewhere, Chryona was one of them. She want to Millennium City and with the help from the M.R.A. (Manimals Relocation Association) She was able to get a job as an aid for the blind as well as a bodyguard, she soon got her 1st employer.
A young blind woman named Eve Summers, Eve work as a trainer for Pro female bodybuilders. Chryona liked to work out as a hobby, so with Eve's help was able to get her body nice and strong.
One day, when they were out doing some shopping they saw one of the ware-houses being robbed by one of Millennium City local gangs. Unfortunately, the gang members saw then to and went after them Chryona Lead Eve to a safe place and told her to stay quiet. Chryona was going to lead the thugs away from her. Eve didn't like this plan but before she could say anything white paw was gone.
Chryona was able to lead the thugs away from Eve and into a Lab, with nowhere else to go they shot her down in cold blood and left her for dead. As Chryona lied on the ground bleeding, she saw a rack of Vials labeled "Dr Moreau's improved manimal serum Blue Moon version". Fearing what the thugs would do to Eve when they found her; Chryona used the last bit of her Strength and crawled to the vials. Upon getting to them she open 2 and drink the contents, the effects happened almost immediately.
All her wounds began to heal, her body became stronger, more muscular and cover in ice and Mist. She could also shoot cold fire from her paws. Using her new powers and taking the rest of the vials with her, she went looking for her friend. When she found Eve the gang members were about to Kill her. Chryona was able to use her new powers and knock out all the thugs and save Eve. Eve ask her heroine for her name, Chryona disguised her voice and told Eve to call her Cryobite. Eve Was going to asked about her friend Chryona but before she could Cryobite had left.
Now having to hide her new powers from her roommate/friend and saving people Chryona has to decide whether to confide in her best friend she just saved or keep her in the dark. After it became harder and harder to hide her secret from Eve, Chryona told Eve the truth about what really happen that day. Eve agreed not to tell a soul about it on the condition that Chryona be careful. Chryona promised to be as careful as she could.
Now with the weight off her shoulders from hiding her secret from her best friend, Cryobite now fights evil were ever she may find it.

I still play it occasionally, but being without any reliable source of income makes it difficult to continue paying for membership. and once you go gold silver seems so pale in comparison. ^_^; the lore and hte costume pieces for that game make it very furry friendly. Besides, I always felt that the humans in that game looked kinda derpy.
I just mainly use it to make Heroes or Villains for commissions I want to get from artist, since the CC is the only thing still free to use now. I tried playing it on a silver archer and the 1st drop I got was a loot box >< that was a mood killer right there. Sigh I liked the game better when it didn't have loot boxes or Jedi speeder bikes (why would I need a bike when I can out run, fly, teleport or jump anything else?) I liked the alerts and comic series when they were going on but since all they do is add 1 off missions and more loot box stuff I don't want to touch it anymore. I read the some of the forums for the last few weeks too and then the whole ask Cryptic answers they give was really sad, I mean the CC and the nemesis system were the 2 best things about the game and too hear how the Nem system is breaking down and they have no plans to fix it really bites. when you can make refs like this: http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/.....ps6e74e384.jpg I would rather give money to an Artist to draw them then to spend 1 more penny on CO. until the company shapes up or those other superhero MMO's that in the works gives CO more compotation I don't see the game getting better anytime soon. The game could be grate but its being held back harder than any game I’ve ever seen, maybe in a year or so it will get better but until then I don’t see it. A shame too I mess the friends I played with their.

That's really how I feel too. The game hasn't had any real support in years, they just occasionally toss a bone to the blind hopefulls so they continue to pump money their blood money into a dead corpse. I used to endorse the game, but I can't do that anymore in good concience knowing that Cryptic has this really bad policy of cannibalizing their old games to fuel some newfangled project. I've been hearing word that STO is starting to feel it too.
yeah that because of never winter and when that game bombs and NW fans eat Cryptic alive or force them to make more content for it to keep happy STO and CO will suffer even more. I miss City of heroes and villains so much Lore and stuff to do. Sure it didn't look all that good the CC was top of the line too and at least it had fairly well updates now and then, even the powers Ice in CO still doesn’t have a cool looking Single target power (ICE blast gets really old after the 4 billion time you have used it) and other power sets are a miss, there was 1 power in infernal that was a great STP to get instead of ice blast but they changed the animation to make it look crapy again :/ . Really wish there was a private sever somewhere to play it again. In CoH you could have made an dual pistol/ devices blaster go too the forums and ask for help on how to build 1. Not… completely, she like most Cryokinesis users can only generate ice when there is moisture around them. Her suit however is designed to store/recycle moisture for her to call upon. So in theory if her suit was high-tech enough and not too badly damaged she could make endless amounts of ice.
