Pappy

It's cold.... And dark.... Where am I ?... Who am I?.... I slowly look around but everything looks fuzzy and mysterious... Like things I've never seen. I try to manage out a sound but the cold haunts down into my lungs and sends me shivering making my bones rattle. Something starts to glow sending the room into a better picture in my mind... But where was this glow coming from... I look around again and catch a glimpse of my reflection in a cracked mirror laying propped on the floor. I tilt my head at the sight.. What am I ? ... My bones glow into my reflection showing what once was alive. I slowly pull myself up and look down at my feet . But then an odd sound echoes in the distance and I let at a small merph. I tried to make my way towards the door, my legs wobbling and my tail clinking into everything. I poke my head out into the hallway and squint my eyes. Halls jutted out in every angle seeming to never end. I stumbled out and looked down each one and stuttered out a rasp hello?... But all was dead silent. I slowly wrapped my tail around the back of my legs and huffed. Where am I ?... My mind kept trying to wander astray as I tried to think what all had happened but nothing seems to come. Then all of a sudden a felt an odd nudge in my side, it felt furry and wet. A small squeak was heard from this nudge and I turned my head to it and gave it a mysterious look. A little beady eyed white beast look up at me and squeaked again then started to wag its tail letting half its butt jiggle with it. I let my claws graze the top of its small head and watched as it started to shake and then spew out yellow liquid. I grimaced and drew my claws back "EW WHAT WAS THAT" I shaked my claws vigorously trying the get the smelly liquid away. The small pup watched and let out a squeak then ran off down one of the hallways. I got up and yelled out " WAIT WHERE ARE YOU GOING ?! " then stumbled off towards it. We went down the hallways for what seemed like forever, till I caught the glimpse of some glow and stopped in my tracks. I peaked my head into a dark room and looked like it was filled with bars. A bright blue eye caught my sight and a deep growl followed behind it as the glow seemed to move and get taller. A deep and scary voice then echoed behind it " Who's there ?" It let out another growl . I watched and uttered up a small gulp. "H-HELLO.." I answered out to it. It let out another growl then clamped itself closer to me and let my eyes take in his scaly mean looking face. I tilted my head alittle watching him as he grimaced. "Hmph looks like we have a newbie Devon ~" I watched him in total confusion as another figure started to creep closer and plopped itself beside me. The figure gave the rude one a look and he slowly disappeared back into the shadows. The blue glowing figure then turns his head towards me and eyes me in a mysterious yet vile while. I let out a small gulp as he whispers to me in a harsh tone , "who are you ?... No lumins were set to be created today." He lets out a low growl then smirks. I tilt my head at his words "LUMINS" He gave a sort of facepalm and nod. " yes it's what you are... It's what I am as well..." He give me another look and humphs "what zyon made you ... Were they rogue.." I gave an even more confused face to him and tried to let my mind think and wander on what he was saying but all I met was emptiness then I soon met darkness and I slumped myself at his feet.

..... Faint noises seem to echo about ... But were they real or was I only imagining things.... I let out a small groan as a slowly opened my eyes. A bright yellow figure stared down and gave a loud chuckle. " Heya there " he said as he started to poke at me. I slowly pulled myself up and rubbed my head with me claws. "ER NYEH..UGH WHAT HAPPENED" The yellowed creature gave a shrug and wagged his tail around "Say have you seen my wifie?" I tilted my head alittle and squinted my eyes, grimacing. He huffed and started gesturing around " You know she's roundish, prickly and has a lot of foliage on her head" he nudged at me and whispered "she's very sexy too " he gave a chuckle as Devon came back in the room. "Dexta leave him alone and quit it with the wife stuff... It's just a pineapple" he smirked at him. Dexta rolled his eyes and gave a low growl " she's special to me " I gave a confused look to both of them and pulled on my cape. "ER IS THIS SUPPOSED TO SOUND HUMEROUS TO ME? " Dexta then looked at me and started to laugh. Devon huffed and gave a snort. "Come newbie, if your going to stay here with us you need to learn some things" He then started to pad out of the room. I looked back at Dexta who was still laughing then slowly followed after him. He led me out into these wide tunnels filled with small lit torched dusted over with cobwebs. " These are the tunnels to this vast place. Always go slow in here" I looked around some and tilted my head "WHYS THAT?" He smirked. " Because of that " He pointed his big claws into the darkness as loud clicks and clacks echoed through the tunnels. " INCOMING!!!! Mail mail Mail ". A small dark blue and green lumin came jousting out towards us then tripped up and fell at our feet. " Hello there varekai, anything good today?" He grumbled into the dirt then let his eyes wander up to us. I stared down at him curiously and watched. He lifted his head up and spat out dirt. " Nothing good today sir... Didn't get to wander out far today , too many zyons. ". "ZYONS WHATS THAT?" I asked. Devon gave me a devilish look " Zyons are what made us and stuck us down here. Stay away from them and let only I or Titan deal with them. Or you'll end up like our mutant Castaway." I tilted my head as Kai said. " yeah they screwed him up big time... " "AH WELL THEN" I rub my claws against my neck. Devon turns to me and smirks " Say you never told me your name newbie" I let out a small gulp and try to think "ITS ERM PAPPY-....PAPYRUS" Devon chuckles some "Pappy eh and who's that ?" I look around confused then noticed that the white little pup had followed us and was now about to pounce onto my tail. " UM IM NOT SURE, HE KIND OF JUST FOLLOWED ME.." Devon watches it and smirks " ah I see, hm" he then looks at me with a grimace "looks like a lesser animal ... One of those small rats that squeaks at everything and has no mind""I SEE" I show off a small smirk. Varekai watches " So um you gonna introduce him to the others or am I going to have to do that?" Devon grins some " well since you asked ... You can do it I need to go have a talk with some people." He lets out a snort and clops off leaving me and varekai behind. I look over at varekai and he chuckles " welp lets go" He then starts to wander off deeper into the tunnel, and I well I followed behind.

We trek down the tunnel for what seemed like hours... I started to look around "ER YOU SURE YOU KNOW WERE WE ARE GOING " Varekai chuckles " oh yeah I'm down here all the time " I smirk and stop and curl my tail around my back legs as sounds start to echo through the dungeon. "ER VAREKAI IS THAT YOU ?" I looked around only to notice he was long gone. The noise kept echoing in a humming sound. "Oh well hello there ~" A voice echoed " Aren't you a cute bony little thing " The voice let out a cackle.
