I have been totally really fucking busy the last month or so, working my fucking ass off (But only a fraction of it getting PAID...).
My parents are doing a retouch on the house, and so they drafted me for painting/fixing/sanding duty. Shit sucks -_-

*How long have you been in the community?
No clue... either since I was 15, or since i got the Starfox64 game, depending on how timid the base of the fandom is xD

*How did you find furry?
My first experience with anything furry, was the hallowed STARFOX 64<3
Before the Krystal days, that is, and i just really fucking loved Wolf. Sure he is a guy, but his badassed nature, british accent and nemesis/friend role with Fox, i couldnt help but love him. And thats where it all began. It had a break for a few years, but when i was...15 i spose, i stumbled across a funny little site called deviant Art, and this is where my fandom started to bloom for real. I signed up, and maed some (REALLY weak) attempts on it myself, meeting the most amazing people i know today through there. and it is through them I have gotten the love for furries that I have today :)

*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
urrrh... pretty much just the wilderness-aspect that appealed to me in the beginning. I liked how people could identify themself with an animal, and make amazing art with beautiful characters. Of course, as time passed, i started noticing them girlies in particular xDD
What can i say, fur doesnt make boobs any less sexy!
But, despite my leanings towards anthro girls over guys, i still love em both to hell and back, so dont getme wrong :D

*What's Furry to you?
Furry to me is....well.... i dont REALLY know.
Some people place the bar around fursuiting, while others place it down by mere liking anthros! I suppose I am of the latter, a person with an interest for anthros are a furry to me, if only a light one :)
Furry is, as a fandom, an expression of freedom and open-mindedness, to not be afraid of identifying yourself with another species. Not saying bestiality here.
Furries comes in all shapes and sizes, not to mention hardcore-factors (Some merely like anthros, some have intercourse wearing fursuits...) and you should respect one and all for their ability to see beyond the human skin, and staying true to themself..... hell, in some ways, the furry is the new black/gay/heavy metal/gamers. Meets lots of resistance, criticism and resistance to begin with, but after a while, it will grow into society. Society just has to accept it >: D

*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
That...reeally depends on who the person is?
Well, for example, all my friends know im a sucker for werewolves. like, really really bad. But some friends know more than others. If, say, my ARMYBUDDY/IRL BESTIE was to ask if I was a furry, i have no idea what i'd say. He kicks ass, but is somewhat narrowminded at times... officially, im just a fan of werewolves xD
However, other buddies know more, seeing how i look at and like anthros and all that, and they dont really seem to give a fuck xD
All in all, if a STRANGER came up to me and asked, i'd decline, but leave a positive remark on furries. In case the person is a furry, ill find out and befriend :D
If he is a flamer, well... I just dont have the stamina to handle more shit right now, so i'd rather beat him up LATER xD

*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
hmm... probably the fine art, the beautiful characters and the (mostly) loveable, awesomely openminded and flexible artists and furries themself. Many of my closest ones are furries, and they just have this incredible humble attitude and respectful nature about them!

*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
I use the word Yiff when referring to dem furry pronz, buuut.. other than that, no.
I see no reason to change my vocabulary :D

*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
people who fuck while wearing mascotsuits...
Thats what a furry IS to the media today, and it is a highly profitable image for them, as people looove to read about what they think is morbid. Most media (such as Tyra fucking Banks, you imbeciled cockmongling twatwhore) drag out the most extreme of us and brand the furry community with a terrible burnmark in the process. They dont focus on the milder side of it, and so, the general public see furries as horny sickos who finds Winnie the Pooh sexually attractive, a far from truthful opinion heavily influenced by the media.

Note: No hate on the people that DO have sex in their suits, by all means, gorge yourselves. I just disapprove of the fact that public auto-associates the entire furry fandom with that activity, and frowns upon it :/
They do the exact same with heavy metal musicians, so i have sympathy for ya :I


*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I just find them tremendously closeminded, and probably rather uninformed, as well as annoying xD

*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
Sadly, the media is the mind of the public these days. And, as stated above, media does its very best to show furries in a bad light, going as far as making talkshow-hosts gawk as the invited extremists put their cards on the table for all to see. yes Tyra, im looking at you. God dammit woman, i swear i will snap your neck for this.

*We all know furries have alot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
Sex is a part of life itself, and.. well, some would say the MEANING of life. We grow to reproduce, to bring the species further, and then we die.
Sexuality influences music, art, and even the way of life, so why shouldnt it influence furrydom? Its a natural process.
Sex is something of a mainstay, no matter what we do, its gunna be there.
Furry porn, Yiff, is somewhat of a taboo, but to me, it is as natural for furries to have their own brand of porn as it is for gays. After all, why should it be different?

Uhmmm.... I have haad... 2 fursonas up in the years, my first one being Jotun.
I miss the bastard at times, but Kitty made me an adorable new one, Nemo. He kicks ass <3

Im rather...shaky, when it comes to spirits and all. I have never seen one, or heard from one, as far as I know, hence im a sceptic. But then again, for all I know, I am an ignorant, not seeing obvious signs. Maybe they are guiding us all, we just dont know it? Or maybe they dont exist, and there is no such thing as an afterlife. In any case, i certainly feel more than merely alive when I am around wolves, especially if i get close contact of the handfeeding/petting sort...

Heavy Metal, Brutality, Werewolves (Not sure if it fits under furry, but i stuck it in here just to be sure :D), Mechs, Awesome machines, guns, weapons, armored vehicles... Everything big, noisy and brutal mostly!
Oh, and also a few games. Brutal Legend, Gears of War, Mass Effect and Prototype all amuse me endlessly <3

I dont mind fursuiters, and i would like to TRY a suit sometime just so i can be an anonymous retard, but i wouldnt own one. After all, it might be awesome, but it is still just a costume to me.

Urrr... i KNOW at least three of em are, and a fourth and fifth is under speculation.
IM PRETTY SURE the 4th is tho, but you never know.

Oh sorry, it seems I am born in FAILCOUNTRY. Nothing ever bothers visiting the frozen tundra of Norway, especially not furry conventions...
And even if it came here, im not sure i would attend.. Meeting fellow furries, hel yes! Sitting around in a gymnasium packed with fursuiters going berzerk, no.
Depends on what kinda con it is tho, i would LOVE to go to a furry art one!

I go out and get piss wasted now and then, finding some solace in a cruel world at the bottom of a beer. BUT, no furries abound to enjoy it with!

As with the cons, it depends. Ejoying a drink with some furry friends? Would if i could. Go out and party with said group of friends, sure!

The fandom is, after all, a part of me, helping me make me the person I am.
I find that it has taught me humility and acceptance of others, although it has also taught me to spite ignorance and hasty conclusions. The fandom has given me the best, and worst, parts of my life at this point, and I have met many new friends thanks to it.
My thanks goes out to all of these said friends, but also to... God Damn STARFOX64, which made all of this possible, budding the seeds of a fandom in a young boys head so many years ago.
