I want to write this journal to shed light on my life recently and commissions.

For starters this year has been stressful and a lot of work. I’m running my own business that has not only eaten up all of my time but has me also there every single day for the last 4 month. No summertime, no days off etc.

For these reasons I have been extremely tentative when it comes to taking on commissions. Due to other reasons I’ve had to deal with I personally hate taking on a slew of commissions and payments and having to know there is X amount of people who are waiting on products from me. I typically take things on 1 or 2 at a time and even if I took on some sketches, I try not to take payments until more is done and other things are fully completed.

Unfortunately, this meant that with work and things recently I haven’t had a whole lot of energy overall and so I’ve been stagnant on a couple pictures which means a lot is on hold. When I made my Google form for commissions in the summer, I should have clarified that I might not be able to get through all of them due to work reasons. For that I want to deeply apologize and want to make things much clearer for the future of me taking commissions.

For this next month a lot of things are coming up and I’m making more decisions on how I’m doing my art direction. I want to open a slew of Wing-It sketch commissions this month for the theme of Halloween. Something that I can complete in a timely manner and not spend hours upon hours working on like a fully shaded picture. Also, with my work schedule being the way it is most of the streams I do are in the dead of nighttime.

Hopefully everyone understands the situation I’m in and continues to like and share my art around. I’m going to have to work my ass off to get my life back to normal again.
