let's talk about reposts

Hey, reminder to please not repost my art to twitter or other sites without my permission! I don't care if it's credited or not, if you didn't draw it and you didn't receive it as a gift or commission then you typically shouldn't be posting it. This is basic online art etiquette.
You'd think this sorta thing would be obvious by now, but there always seem to be people who either try to justify reposts like "i'm giving the art more exposure!" or just don't even think about why they shouldn't do it at all. This lack of consideration for artists is unacceptable. You're not "helping", you're shamelessly using someone else's work to divert attention away from the owner and towards yourself. It's stealing, plain and simple. If you wanna get clout from having cool art on your account, you find an artist with open commissions and pay them to draw it for you. Art that wasn't made by you or for you is NOT yours to profit from!
Furthermore, if an artist doesn't post their work on a particular site, they're probably doing that by choice, and you ought to respect that. In my case specifically, i've wiped/deleted my content from both DeviantArt and Eka's Portal for personal reasons in the past year, and the only way my content should be appearing on those platforms (or anywhere else where I don't have an active presence) is if my commissioners choose to upload it themselves. That's it.
We need to be better about this shit, people. It doesn't matter if you're an RP account, or if you put "art is not mine, credit to the artists" or whatever in your bio. That doesn't make it ok. It's still art theft. And if you see people around you reposting a bunch of uncredited work, you can do your part by calling it out when you see it and helping to set clearer expectations for what kind of behavior is acceptable in online art communities. This problem is hurting artists and it ESPECIALLY hurts smaller artists the most severely. If people want to keep enjoying art for free, they need to show basic respect for the people who create it.
tl;dr don't repost my shit without asking thanks

Most often these are direct links to your Twitter posts, or sometimes links to stuff here on FA.
Are you comfortable with people sharing your content like this? Or would you like me to remove these posts when I see them?
If I can find the original artist or an owner of one of the characters I do my best to inform them that it has been stolen, but if I can't I'm not really sure how to help.
Tried calling out a YouTube channel recently due to stealing other people's animations while claiming them as their own, all I got in response was childish insults, them claiming the animations actually belong to them (which is ridiculous because I am subbed to the original creator and owner of the characters who livestreams and uploads themselves animating and rigging the models), or trying to claim that by me calling them out I am: "a fascist" and a "Trump supporter".
I really don't understand how these people think they can get away with it.
