Update on Commissions
So yeah today i will announce that i will be opening commissions in early October, I'll give a couple of days of heads up i don't surprise you with the announcement.
So i want to say that I'm always pretty thrilled that people like my work and trust my craft to actually pay for it. For that i always try and make the pictures to be worth the money and you can ask around the level of detail i tent to give to commissions
.
but since things have been changing I'm also having to apply some BIG changes to the entire structure.
So now on the slots:
There will be only 5 slots, with the possibility to increase the number of slots if the situation demands it, this is because of the time they usually take to make and i want to have a rotation month to month, instead of the eternally open one avoiding the long queues.
On the receiving method:
I won't be receiving the details via notes or DMs, I will change so now it's gonna be via a form link I'll provide, you know to keep things more tight and organized.
On the payments:
Paypal will be still required, but i'm changing from the money request actual Invoices And I will be changing the payment from 100% as soon as the sketch is approved, to 50% upfront to 50% after the picture is done. i feel this is better for both parties overall.
Also and i think more importantly price changes, one of the most important things about this is that there are plenty of factors that got into this decision, as you know i always tried my best to keep affordable prices for my work and giving people the best results to my ability allowed, always, this however had to change, and if i want to keep doing what i do and since i won't stop trying to do my best with each and every one on the comms i get, i have to pump up the prices.
So here's a preview of how the prices will end up.
close up Medium shot full body
Linework $25 $45 $65
Cellshaded $40 $60 $100
hard brushed $50 $100 $200
Soft rendered $60 $150 $300
Fully rendered $70 $200 $400
prices in USD
So yeah i know this is harsh but i had to do some serious research to get to these prices, so they are not out of the blue.
So that will be it, i want to still be able to draw you folks pics and focus on other stuff like growing my portfolio, or actually doing some growing on my characters backstory (so they are not just pretty faces)
Anyway that was a lot so thank you for your time.
