I admit... I've never been! I guess that's part of what's drawn me to your account: every video and picture brings with it some of that Disney Saturday morning cartoon magic I've missed out on!

That all said, it looks like they've got the Hundred-Acre Wood cast at WDW: if I saw them, I think all those childhood memories would come flooding back! And I could even stick around for tea with Mary Poppins - what more could a hog want? :D

Gosh, I only went there 37 years ago ! My best character moment was meeting Dreamfinder & Figment ! I luved the original "Journey into Imagination" so much that I went there every day and didn't want to leave. A little I know that they were going to change it...for the worst !

I suppose I'll get to find out this November, never been, skipped a few trips but giving into pressure :) Hopefully its a good time.

I still remember my first time going to Walt Disney World back in 2003 this month, Animal Kingdom was the first park we went to and Goofy was the first character we met in an area of that park back then known as “Camp Minnie-Mickey”, before Avatar was even heard of.

Heck I still have the photo album from our first trip to WDW in 2003.

I only wish I got to be one. I am lucky to have worked for them though. The first one I met was back in 1993. I still have a picture somewhere, but it was with Dale in his Rescue Rangers outfit. If I wasn't on the tall side, I'd love to be a Stitch. Picking a character to meet all time is a hard one. Suppose one I haven't met yet is Robin Hood.

My first time visiting Disney World my mom made sure we were on an early morning flight so we could go to Magic Kingdom that day. She said my eyes opened so wide walking into the park for the first time and seeing the castle. My favorite characters of the main cast were Chip and Dale and so that was the first character meet and greet we went to.

It was pure magic, they both played with me and made me laugh for a few minutes and when the Cast Member said I had to go explore the park with my mom, Dale scooped me up and started to fake run away with me. I was in heaven and my mom was so entertained by it all.

Every character interaction I had that first trip was incredible.

Another amazing interaction was when I went in 2009 with my Dad and he and I happened upon Goofy (his favorite) back in Camp Minnie Mickey and he had a great interaction with him, was cool to see him let his guard down and have fun. And right as we were about to leave Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear came out. We were alone back there so I got to interact with them both alone for a few minutes and they both had me slow dance with them, it was so great.

But I gotta say.... in 2016 when I had the absolute INCREDIBLE experience of meeting Brer Fox, Brer Bear and Brer Rabbit at the same time in Animal Kingdom with Strobes while we were there for our anniversary? THAT WAS AMAZING! Pure magic!

I remember going to Disney World in the summer of 1972, right after it opened. I was 13 at the time. My dad restricted us to the "tamer" rides, although most of the attractions back then were more family friendly and tame. I think the only thriller we did was the Haunted Mansion.
Hmm, my mom might have some old home movies or slides from that visit.

Hmmm, let's see, there's the vacation me and my family and some relatives took to Disney World in September 2000. One of the first characters I met at the resort was King Louie, at Disney's Animal Kingdom. And then later that morning a little after posing for photos with Pooh and Eeyore in one of those designated character "meet and greet" spots, as me and my family were heading someplace else in the park who should we run into but Tigger! Of course we just had to get a photo with him. Regarding the whole vacation, I still remember how blown away I was by how they had SO MANY Disney characters from their vast library of movies and shorts and TV shows. I even saw Prince John and the Sheriff of Nottingham from "Robin Hood" and Gideon from "Pinocchio!"

I could write novels about my vacations in florida, the first time was in 2010 and i have the best memories from beeing at the magic kingdom. The best for me is meeting tigger. It wasnt until 2012 i had the guts and ask tigger to bounce with me and i cried after wards a little bit because in germany i could never have had that. Here all the cool tihngsa are kids only. But over therei was able to have that little moment beeing inside that cartoon world and ask my favourite cartoon friend for that. And tigger and pooh just did.

I hope to get back in 2022 that the corona restrictions wil be go away somehow because its not a vacation when you have to wear that fucking mask everywhere.

I went a couple times in the 90's. Meeting Mickey Mouse was the highlight. As was the Disney Afternoon show at Mickey's Starland(?). I would love to have met Robin Hood, Kenai and Nick Wilde. My most treasured moment was at Disneyland back in 2001 when I was visiting my brother. I wasn't in line but I managed to nab a photo of Minnie Mouse. She saw me and posed, I then blew a kiss at her and good gracious she blew a kiss back! I was smiling like an idiot for while a there!

The one time I set foot on Disney World grounds was Epcot, 2000. I remember the Maelstrom in the Norway area, the 360 CircleVision for China and Canada, a movie featuring Lion King characters for "The Land," and a showcase of futuristic technology. That included digital paper, a CD/DVD player in a shower, and "Video Games Of Tomorrow" (Sega Dreamcast!).
The Test Track was also a super fun ride!
The day ended with fireworks and a "Tapestry of Nations" parade, with giant puppets and floats with drummers. Super catchy song, too.

My memory and most memorial character was tigger. Tbh i was reluctant about meeting him. Even hated him.But the magic made us friends and my life changed. In fact that one meeting inspired my fursona.

I remember being around six years old, and I was getting my picture taken with Goofy. He told me to look at the camera. I was so excited that Goofy spoke to me. For his sake, I hope no one else heard him.

I've always thought it would be cool to be Timon. Maybe I'll audition one day.
