Owe to Cody

1) As I sit, open my window bay, I look to the sea.....
The hope of finding my dearest Cody is all I need to see.....
For his eyes glisten like waters beam.....
And all I can do is sit and dream.....
2) I wait and hope my Cody will come.....
My servant jives awaiting some.....
We both stand on the wooden deck.....
As I say “Is that the heck”....
3) The ship is gone, but not for me.....
All I want, I cannot see.....
Cody is a memory, trapped you see.....
Somewhere out there in the vast blue sea.....
4) My Cody will come on the day.....
I tell. I wait for him on the bay.....
His black locks will flow in the wind.....
But I will punish for my sins.....
5) The night seem long, the hour do too.....
As all I do is waiting for you.....
Oh my Cody, hearth to the joy.....
I can only remember you as a boy.....
6) You’re a man, strong and free.....
I hope you have not forgotten thee.....
Oh my Cody hear my cry.....
As my servant leaves me with a sigh.....
7) Eager on joyful return.....
I hope your body is not too stern.....
Like the ship, I need you. ....
And I hopeth Cody needs me too.....
8) Cody I hope, you will know.....
That in my mind, our love is no show.....
I love him more than light.....
Even when it is not so bright.....
9) For Cody to Cody my one true love.....
Heaven sent you too me like a dove.....
Give me power to hold your hand.....
I know by now you’re not on sand.....
10) Professing false love to another man.....
He will stand, strong and buff with a tan.....
Do not be fooled, by his unfaithful hand.....
Show him this, our lover’s band.....
11) And bid him a farewell.....
Cause I know, no need to sell.....
My only dream is hiding here.....
And one day you will return here.....
12)....
I shall open my arms in joy.....
The man I love is still my boy.....
