What Is Your Favorite Halloween Memory?

πβ¨β€οΈ 𧑠π π π πβ¨π I want to get into the habbit of making fun journals like this so I can talk to you all more and get to know yah c:
SO yeah! What's your favorite Halloween memory? It doesn't have to be major or even take place on the date. Could be as simple as that one time your friend traded you for all your favorite candies. I'd love to hear any memories you're willing to share with me ^w^
My favorite Halloween memory is more like 2 separate memories.
First fav being the time I went trick-or-treating with my sister and our friend Abby. Our friend was dressed as Pennywise (we loved the movie IT when we were wee babs) and my sister and I went as almost twin witches. We played pretend all night as it was our first time let out alone. We made up spells, talked about cursing our bullies and even ran away screaming a few times as we passed by some creepy houses. We also got to go t-or-t'ing in my aunt's neighborhood. They often gave out the king sized candy bars so we were rolling in it!
Second fav memory being the time I went trick-or-treating with my high school friends. We were a bit old but honestly we didn't want to grow up. I went with my then bf and shared best friend Jim as well as Abby. We ended up running into our other friends along the way and we made a huge group night out of it. We played truth or dare half way through and it ended up leading to more tricks than treats. Best dare hands down was telling Abby to roll around like a dog in some random lawn. We told her to act like a dog and half way through, the owner of the house came out and chased us away. That and we found a shopping cart on the way and I got to be pushed around in it all night.
How about you?

By the end my candy bucket was almost too heavy for me to carry, full of lots really good stuff
always fun times seeing everybody dressed up and going out trick or treating, those were good times back then. especially getting large candy bars at one house, that was the go to house on Halloween.
I know about this holiday only because of cartoons
It's a scary movie as a child, but watching it as an adult now is just xd
A little ways into it we were stopped by a guy in a gorilla suit (who stopped us while on a bike) holding out his hand. We eventually figured out he wanted some candy so we threw some at him and he kept going. We kept expecting him to show up again and were kind of upset that he didn't. After we got back to my friend's house we had a sleepover. Watched the premier of the Mystery Skulls Ghost animation and spent the night scrolling through Tumblr.
My absolute favorite is probably the dragon costume I made in 3rd grade, since that was the first one I made mostly by myself. It was mint green with rubies on its scales. Unfortunately we had an unexpected snow storm on Halloween night, so hardly anyone was out trick-or-treating (and, as a result, very few grown-ups were handing out treats). But I was like "Dammit I'm a dragon, I can handle some snow!!" So my dad, my brother, and I trudged around for a couple hours, wandered home with our bags mostly empty... and just kept all the candy my mom had bought, since there'd been nobody to hand it out to XD
