Got my switch OLED and it is GAWGEUS

This is getting a bit like a YouTube essay but I think it’s the perfect form of the switch aside from being the high end model.
Of course a 4K pro upgrade would be fantastic but I think people get hung up on how they want the switch to be a home console but it is a portable at heart, and a still remarkably powerful one at that.
I thought about that recently on how to best enjoy the switch in the face of next gen, and likewise at this rate I can’t trust the rumors anymore of how many years we’ve been told “this year I swear!”, that I think a spec bump is next gen hardware still a couple years out. More than likely it’s been severely delayed because of chip shortages and part of me thinks the OLED would have been the pro upgrade if that wasn’t the case.
So with the pro being MIA and the personal opinion that the graphics work best on the 720p handheld screen, the OLED captures the perfect essence of what the switch is, a really impressive and capable handheld device
Also fukken table top mode is usable like holy shit everyone ignored it bc the OG kickstand was absolutely awful but I always tried to make it work but now everyone will see how nice it is to plop it on a table and play with split joycon. And now we can comfortably do the fabled rooftop party!
