My noodle dergy is about 70% fluffy and 30% scaly, so I'm guessing I have to support fluffy because they are so cute n cuddly :P

I think a bit of both could be a nice combination. My female noodle Ilyniel has a lovely lush mane running along her spine (ending with a really bushy tip, as you'd expect, and adorable looking fur tufts on her elbows and ankles. Have a look here if you wish! https://sta.sh/01xxdyrjyl4p
I plan to create a few more noodles in the future to join forces with her but I have the hardest time figuring out the finer details. One will probably be a scaly black noodle with spikes along his back and the other...probably a scalie with frills, if they are related? Or a fluffy one for extra fluffy hugs? I have to decide between combat hardiness and better hugs, ahhhh! It's a though choice for sure :D

This first one sound pretty neat with those dark colors, indigo sounds good as some accents or details :3
If the first one is scaly then it'd be nice to see the second one in some fluff and light colors, maybe light blue or some white mixed with warm colors... something that fits "extra fluffy hugs" you mentioned before, hehe x3

As for the scales or fluff, I like both, but if I were to choose, I would say fluff; I think it feels better when you cuddle a fluffy one ^^

I like asian dragons too... well, I like dragons in general X3
personally i think noodles should be furred, since they have a somewaht royal presence in my opinion. and fur always looks more noble then scales. but Fur alos takes more Maintenance then Scales.

I think both types of noodles are majestic in their own right! I think my next noodle will be a scaled one. Though I also want to get a fluffy one down the road. What makes scalie noodles interesting for me is that there is plenty of room for customization in the ways of spikes, horns maybe even muzzle shape to a degree?
On the other hand, fluffy ones can be just as interesting! I've seen a few types of muzzles that all work nicely, and I'll be hard pressed to choose a more dragon-inspired snout or one that is more mammalian in appearance. Also, the whiskers sure can be a nice touch! I find them working far better on the fluffy noodles, probably because they work better alongside with all that fur. Also, paws with pads for the fluffy noodles <3 SO CUTE!
Also, you're giving us bonuses? How about I'll give you a bonus! If you're not careful with the body length, you can end up with a drake instead of a noodle. But I see why you're more into fluffy ones, they are nice on their own way ^^
And about the length, that's truuuu but it's also an issue when art makes your noodle waaay too long than on the reference, happened to me once or two and it looked a bit weird but I guess it can be some kind of noodl magic or something (or just me being unexperienced at drawings as well, possibly this option haha x)

Noodle Dergs - Fluff or Scale? This is a hard question for me to answer! I actually am pretty split on it. Traditionally they are scaled but often with long manes, so that always pops up for me ... but on the other paw, a warm, snuggly, fluffy dragon is just so comforting!

I don't really have any preference between fluff or scales. If anything, I have a preference for variety! To me, one of the best things about dragons is that there's so many features you can customize, and whether your dragon has fluff, scales, or even a mixture is just one of the many things you can change. It would be boring if all dragons had only fluff or all dragons had only scales. My main sona is furry, not out of any sort of preference, but because being fluffy makes sense for a dragon who mainly lives on cold mountains and needs to stay warm.
