The reason I vanished 6 months ago
So I got burnt out on art early this year and wanted to work on some other projects. This wouldn't have been a big deal, except that some time in May I developed severe back pain. I have no idea what happened or why. As far as I can tell it was basically "Jerma Disease" - just mysterious pain that prevented me from doing anything.
After about 2 months I realised it wasn't going away on its own, and when you can't sleep from the pain and even breathing is agony, everything seems hopeless and depressing, and consequently I didn't even want to do anything or talk to anyone, even if I could. Getting a doctors appointment was a nightmare, and it's only recently that I've managed to get to any kind of physiotherapy but, finally, after a bunch of failed rehab regimes, my back is now starting to improve to the point where I can draw again.
I'm not really back yet, but I am getting back, hopefully.

That's the kind of hopeful news that we need in these trying times!! Please take care, and I wish you a speedy recovery! It is good to know that you're doing better. Keep at it. Even if not every day is a good day, it is the overall trend what matters. A little progress, step by step, goes a long way. And if you need anyone to encourage or motivate you to keep going, feel free to reach out. I'd be glad to chat. Remember that both physical and mental health go hand in hand... and a bit of external encouragement can go a long way! Please stay safe and keep us updated if you can. <3
