Alright, hear me out on this one.

I've had a lot of ideas rattling around in my head for a while which I wanted to get commissioned. I'm thinking of just writing them out as stories, much like what I did with this thing (which I might actually give some extra polish), and then maybe later on finding someone who might be interested in adapting it as a sequence of images if not a comic. Preferably as lineart or sketches, but either way, trying to get some of these out of my system.

that sounds like fun to me. it'll also make it easier for you to tell artists about your ideas.

And I suppose it will also give the few folks who actually read stories around here something to see in the meantime.

As a writer, I understand the struggle of getting eyes on your work compared to pictures. Derived, effort-based gratification as opposed to instant visual gratification. Best of luck to you!

Yeah, you really can't compare the amount of attention pics get when compared to writing. But I really want to just get some ideas I have onto paper, so to speak.

That's the best way to do it. If you have fun putting those ideas on paper, go ahead! And the passion, if it's very strong, will keep eyes on it long after pictures lose their initial capture!
